Yes, that'd be the downside of contracting the design to the BBC SFX department of the 70's.

But heck, imagine the weapons and army. Legions of paper-maché monsters and pepperpots trundle and shamble towards the driod lines, before opening up with obviously super-imposed purple wibbly stuff, very big and smoky shots and fire-extingushers fired through whisks. What could be more terrifiying, even to a droid army?
According to wikipedia, "the Mohorovičić discontinuity is the boundary between the Earth's crust and the mantle."
According to Starbound, it's a problem solvable with enough combat drugs to turn you into the Incredible Hulk.

Anakin Skywalker if possible. With training, his glaring personality flaws could be corrected and rectified. Sidious would love it. A whole army of Vader's to play around with. The DS would become redundant. Although if they all fell for Padme that might cause a problem.

WHat happens when clones meet their primes and realize they are nothing alike?

Uh, don't clones of force users tend to go insane? Or was that only with one process?

I think it's either if you rush the cloning process (a minimum of one year for the Spartii tanks) or the tanks in general when dealing with those who are extremily sensative to the force.

What 'bout Duke Nukem? He's a literal fragging machine, all the women go nuts for him, and he's got as many one-liners as Republic writers can churn out.
This has been another blunder by you friendly local idiot.

ohh, evil idea: Legolas.

Then we get space-elf-eldar-wannabes with plenty of firepower, and even if they are grown-accelerated, a pretty long lifetime by human standards ahead of them.

Samus Aran. She comes with her own armor. *conveniently ignores fact that Chozo Armor generally isn't mass-produced*

Yeah but that's enough potential that he survived a planet blowing up in his face when he was a baby.

I think it would have been really interesting if Durge hadn't been in hibernation.

Actually he was off planet and turned Super saian by then.

Also Durge was a member of a NEAR extinct species

Screw who you clone. Jango is fine for that. What you need is a better training program.
The Excellent Prismatic Spray. For when you absolutely, positively must kill a motherfucker. Accept no substitutions. Contact a magician of the later Aeons for details. Some conditions may apply.

Please don't suggest DBZ characters. Sidious and Tyrannus will never consider them as templates, because they're too powerful, and impossible to control.

Please don't suggest DC comic characters. Their refusal to kill and their bizarre weaknesses-- e.g. Kal-El's vulnerability to a red sun's radiation-- limits their usefulness. Wolverine might be useful, however.
Please do not make Americans fight giant monsters.

Those gun nuts do not understand the meaning of "overkill," and will simply use weapon after weapon of mass destruction (WMD) until the monster is dead, or until they run out of weapons.

They have more WMD than there are monsters for us to fight. (More insanity here.)

Was thinking good old Logan myself, practically unkillable with enhanced senses and no problems with killing makes him an almos perfect template.

Another option would be Blade, even without extensive martial arts training he has a major strength, agility and durability advantage over Jango, and is pyscho enough that if Dooku wanted to take control of the army the Republic would get completly raped, even the Jedi wouldn't know what had hit them.

yep. Since Jim's claws are natural you woudl get an army of them with claws. hell you coudl even lace their skeletons with some sw metal.

He's supposed to be very powerful in physical combat: Near Savage hulk strength, shapeshifting, energy blasts, regeneration etc...

 , nah too strong, Overkill.

Spartans or Elites or Brutes or hunters would be nasty :)
