Can we use the Dragon dwarf variant that has +4 CON, -2 DEX, +2 lockpicking? (it's intended to be a more social dwarf)

He said +2 La, this is a dwarf variant from a dragom magazine that makes them more social but clumsy (dex is more important than consitution)

Standard MM/Guide for Faerun (NOT Monsters of Faerun!) PC races are allowed, as are all the Player's Handbook races. All feats/classes from the Player's Handbook/Guide to Faerun are allowed, but if you want something special, contact me with the information, and I'll decide whether to allow it.
Character sheets should be saved in text format and emailed to me. No alignment is out of bounds, and I'll try to keep the campaign as open as possible, but I do have a good long story line written out, so keep that in mind before derailing the game and starting a brothel in the Astral Plane.
There we go. Emphasis mine.

I'm statting up a halfling fighter/rogue. I decided against assassin because I didn't feel like playing a spellcaster.

Basic idea is he used to be a common outlaw. After robbing the wrong people and narrowly avoiding the consequences he decided it would be wise to take up a career that involves lots and lots of travel.

Desert-Nomad ranger, maybe? With keen scimitars for an ungodly critical range?
Sorry, I was away last night. Yes, that would fit in just perfectly. :)

I see my character as the kind who is methodical and careful almost to the point of paranoia. Always has his weapon unholstered, never sits with his back to a door, violently distrusts people he doesn't know, etc. If D&D Dwarves are close to the stereotype, he might have just left the mines or some such.

I've made a Sorceror 5, Alienist 3, Palemaster 1, wearer of purple 1, Dwarf.

(NE- anyone but him gets troden over in a relentless drive to improve himself and push himself to a new level beyond these puny worms, theyre all against me, hahahaha, wibble wibble  )

I just need to flesh out the stats and backstory , the sorceror is the DF variant, The Alien and Pale are from Tome and blood, the wearer of purple from Faiths and pantheon.

Thirteen people. Excellent size for a party.

the optimal size is 4-8, personally I would recommend splitting into 2 groups.

I was ironically referring to the superstition that a party of 13 will soon have one of their number be killed or suffer some other misfortune. I am aware that the preferred D&D party size is much smaller.

13 already? Hmm, I could just throw more monsters at you. Yes, that would work fantastically. How does a Great Wyrm Red Dragon sound?

Realistically, though, I think we'll have to split the groups up, say into 6 or 7 each. Perhaps each according to their dominant timezone?

Yes GMT's are fun to add in.

Also quick note Tycho, which chat program are we using as those of us without any installed need time to get one running.

*Edit as well with M's question, I'm going to need abit of help with item kitting out as well.

I'll probably be using OpenRPG; built in dice roller, little battle map at the top.
http://www.openrpg.com/ Has everything you need.
