Looks like something from a Dark Horse book to be honest.
Ender (iirc) put it up one day out of some sourse book. I liked it and copied and pasted it. I don't know if it's supposed to be a reimagining of the Loranar Strike Cruiser or that other EU one, Ellion or some such thing.
It is rather neat though. Nice Imperial/KDY-ish ship.

It looks like it came out of one of those Essential Guides to Star Wars Shit. It doesn't look half bad IMO.

IIRC, that ship came out of the rouge squadron comic book. I believe a ship like it was featured in the "Battleground Tatooine" storyline. Personally, I like it too.

Personally I'm very fond of the New Production Line "Dreadnaughts". Excellant use of a tried and tested Haul radically upgraded.

Eidolon was a re-imagined Loronor Strike cruiser, yeah. By KDY, of all companies. The image posted is from the Rogue Squadron Handbook, by Dark Horse; the actual vessel (well, parts of it) appeared in Battleground Tatooine.
It never went into production or really existed; the project was some kind of cover for Sate Pestage's secret vacation home or some such thing. It's been awhile since I read that one.
Crossroads, that sucker's fanon, if you weren't already aware.

The question is, how many X-wings can those pods hold?
As for other nice EU ships, well...I like the
Neutron Star-class Bulk Cruiser for some strange reason. Despite how utterly, utterly useless it is in the game
Rebellion, I just like it. Don't know why.
And then there is the
Nebulon-B2 Frigate out of the
X-Wing series. Mainly because it's the closest I can get to placing in the Nebulon-B itself while still being an EU ship. I still like it on it's own merits, though the picture on Wookieepedia doesn't look as good as I remember from XvT: BoP.
And finally, the T-wing fighter, also from the
X-Wing series:
Apparently it was nerfed in comparison to the A-wing, but I like the look of it anyway.

I'm a big fan of dreadies too as well as the carrack light cruiser, I'm also a big fan of the Assault Cruiser V.1.
I'm also a bit of a fan for the cloak shape and the I-7 howlrunner.

I have to second (third? fourth?) the Dreadnaught Cruiser, and the TIE Defender. Also going to add the Bothan Assault Cruiser.

Its a retcon of the strik cruiser that appeared in the DHC Rogue Squadron Handbook.

I'm a huge fan of the Dreadnaught Heavy Cruisers and the KOTOR capital ships.
Coalition wrote:World Devastator. Mobile factory ship, with self-defense, and the larger ones will literally eat a Star Destroyer. It repairs itself during combat, adapts itself based on the opponents it faces, and it can even self-replicate.
Sounds like a borg cube

boo.

I was not aware that Borg cubes could literally eat enemy starships, manufacture anything, or self-replicate.

Not really. The concept behind its design makes a great deal of sense, and its implimentation and construction are quite dissimilar from that of the Borg cube.
Here's the Wookieepedia
entry, if you're interested.

It was more like the planet-killer of ST than the Borg Cube. Heck it was more like Mega-Maid from spaceballs than the Borg Cube. Think of a giant hand held vacuum cleaner, that uses raw materials to create Drone Tie Fighters, and to replicate.

IMO it's wankish like the whole magical self-repair and "adaptation" of the cubes.

It dosnt self repair like the Cube in best of both worlds, theres no magical bits of metal bending themselves back into shape. It really is just a mobile factory covered by weapons with a great big scoop on the front that can 'absorb' star destroyers or suck up a planets mass.

The only thing wankish about the Borg is their fanboys.
As Noble Ire said the design concept makes a great deal of sense and the only thing the World Devastators have in commom with a Borg cube is that they're both big.

Hunh, I didn't realize Crossroad's was a BSG thing (that's what it is, right?).
World Devastators are a pretty nifty concept, but they're essentially just a construction droid on a massive scale-- nothing revolutionary.

The image I posted was the reult of a FanFic in which the crew of the BSG built a Battlestar Based on StarWars Teck, using the Design of a Dreadnaught... I just think it Looks Cool!

I rather like the Imperial Dreadnaught from the Thrawn trilogy.

My favorites are more pedestrian:
TIE Defender, the Lambda shuttle, Eclipse-class star destroyer/dreadnaught, and of course, the old standby, the Imperial II.

Well the topic was EU ships, we've seen the Imperial II (I would assume) and the Lambda on film.

For some reason I always loved these guys.
Also I always thought this was a good little pirate fighter.
