I believe most of us have their OOB's ready.
Lemme do my OoB but since I won't be attacked right away, and since it'll be in line with what everyone else is doing, I don't think it'll be trouble.
Nobody is going to get attacked straight away. You have plenty of time to finish it.

I haven't done a unit count and fortress count yet.

Oh, shit. I forgot my fortresses too.
No worries. We have time.

Frankly I don't think we need to have everything spelled out in detail before we start: Our little empires are separated by quite a distance, so I wouldn't expect much conflict right at the start of the game. Unit count etc. can wait, really.

I don't.
Well if you've played Final Fantasy VI you have a general idea of what I'm going for, though. I just need to invest the time into it...

No worries, you have time. Like Siege said, we won't be going to war any time soon. At least not with each other.
Unfortunately I haven't played any of the FF games, so I'll wait for your OOB. I'm guessing it should be interesting.

I'll write something diplomatic in a moment, but Sarmatia wants to keep an unclaimed bufferzone between it and the Crimeans. They also intend to move east towards Astrakhan.
However we need more players, maybe some NPC states or summat... not sure... there should be a moderator too. :-/

Sure, just implement them as high point infantry.

Yes, and the rules are fairly loose, you get 25K points and 3 fortress levels free, not sure how you buy more fortress levels

Yeah but what decides how many points troops take etc?

Heh you do

Just look at the other guys and try to keep it in line with that, that's a fairly good guideline.

Ok, I will be semi inactive though as said. I do have 1667 words to do a day starting on the 1st of November.

Troops are bought in lots of 100. An average hundred man group of human soldiers is 40 points as a rule of thumb. Killer werewolves are probably a bit more pricey by the hundred of course.

I would probably only use them as either elites or scouts. If I made them less powerful would I be able to get them for less then, like say not as strong, quick healing etc, and what is a fortress level?

A Fortress level is how powerful the fortress it is. Level 1 fortresses cost 2500 points, level 2 cost 7500 and so on with each level costing twice the last to add. You get three levels of fortress for free to apply as you please.
Fortress level apparently reduces the enemy army strength by ten percent times the level of the fortress.
And yes you can make the werewolves whatever value you want. Like by a quirk Baerne's dragon knights are cheaper by the hundred than my serpent riders, which is a lil odd but there ya go.

I still think you lot should put some official rules like the SDN Worlds if only for clarity I shall propose some ideas later on.

Yes, but the Kingdoms thread doesn't contain rules, just the Orders of Battle. This thread has some basic rules buried in it, but the gist of it is this: standard infantry costs 40 points per 100 soldiers. Everyone has used that as a baseline for making their other units. For instance, since most of my army is professional, all of my standard heavy infantry is 45 points to represent better training, with my cavalry versions being 5-10 points higher to represent their better battlefield utility. My more exotic units are scaled up appropriately based, roughly, on how many other units of equal size they can take, with the curve leveling off somewhere in the 100s range for units that aren't über-magical. Thus, my giants are about twice the price.
Fortresses/castles cost 2500 for the first level, and then double for each one after (5000 to upgrade a level 1 to a level 2, 10,000 to level up from level 2 to level 3, etc.; so a level 2 costs a total of 7,500, etc.).
Every province makes 200 points of income per turn. 1/5 of your army's price is used as income every year (for instance, a 10,000 point army costs 2,000 points per turn).
Hero units cost no upkeep.
That's about all I remember. You can ask someone else or dig through the thread for something more thorough.

For the record, Can we have a rule not to have any magic that is too ... overkill? Seeing how the SD.Net World has devolved into bickering over superweapons, not having them is a good idea.

I agree, but at what sort of level? Or do we just eyeball it?
