First, write something about it picking up the Inferno pistol. Then I have a group of suicidal Kroot at your service.

I did post Knives's specifications earlier. Think Eversor on crack, the main problem is getting him to stop. He isn't often used, as one time there was a fault with his controlloers communicator, and he killed three companies of Imperial Guard to a man after dispatching the enemy. This is what led to the failsafe being installed.

Just so we're clear... an Infero Pistol is a very short-ranged Meltagun, yes? And one of those to the torso put an Iron Man down?

Imperial Overlord says a point-blank shot with an Inferno Pistol will put a Terminator-armoured SM down.
Don't go arming everybody with the damn things, though. They're not common.

Resistance is futile.

Very rare. In the wargame only one army has access to them at all. The basic meltagun is much more common, and also more powerful.

I've altered Gyllia's conversation with Vorus for legibility.

Well running into bloody Iron men seems to work

A Commissar threatening to shoot an Inquisitor? Isn't it usually the other way around?

Uh, Typhonis, couldja do me a huge favor and delete your post so you can put it after mine? I'll be your bestest friend forever. *grins* And thanks for getting Prius back into the thick of it.

Deletion can only be done by the last post. So, Petro has to delete his first.

Oh, so this wasn't Prius.
Yay! Commissarial cannon fodder!

Hey, make it Prius anyway. In a bad mood and willing to boss Nathan around.

Nah, he's rigid and fanatical but within the rules... there's no way in hell he'd give an Inquisitor orders, alas.
Re: your last post in the game... I'm getting entirely too predictable, it seems. 'KAAAAABOOOOOOM' indeed.

Bah. I go to the trouble of giving the Iron Man an inferno pistol and you nerf it in 2 posts? Do you want to bring the Lord of Necron's wrath down upon our heads?! Do you1!?/?!
Edit: In related news, Kruger kicks arse.

Very true, being as how the menace actually wasn't ended before Kruger took his shot... remember that the Iron Man before last was stopped because it was shot in the chest, nicking the primary CPU.
I'm of the opinion that such critical items as CPUs should be located in the most heavily armored region, instead of the oh-so-obvious head that the normal person associates with the center of cognitive capacity. I figure the head on these things is nothing more than the primary sensor array.

However, in wannabe GM terms, I'm now left with nothing more to work with than the impromptu retreat of the Borean Rifles... who are still abandoning the perimeter in a great gobbing hurry and streaming back to a rendezvous point.

Makes sense. I was expecting it to walk around headlessly for a while, providing much amusement.

Sounds like the Commissars will have a lot of work to do...

Very true. Unfortunately, my commissar is bedridden and barring the miraculous intervention of the Emperor won't be getting up for another eighteen hours or so.
Then he can dramatically limp around, curse and shoot lots of officers for their failings...
It's good to be king.
