LOL all. Turn's in. And yes, I need to learn the power of the save button.
Get your fill of sci-fi, science, and mockery of stupid ideas

Is it now? Okay. Who's there? Neutrals, or Kirk?Trogdor wrote:The system in the top right corner of the square that you've put my empire's symbol in is still contested, otherwise the map I sent you before is correct.
That's those Bynar guys, right? Those guys are a bunch of assholes. First they blew up my first Defiant with mines, now they're launching intel attacks on me.Trogdor wrote:The system in the top right corner of the square that you've put my empire's symbol in is still contested, otherwise the map I sent you before is correct.
Hahaha *snicker* can't believe that's working.Arthur_Tuxedo wrote:That's those Bynar guys, right? Those guys are a bunch of assholes. Yep, the 20% bonus profit margin when trading doesn't hurt either.Nephtys wrote:You're the Ferengi. You're like Galactic Wal-Mart. People need to eat your soul, ONLY AFTER they buy that 2.99 thirty-pack of socks.
Not the Bynars. The little number crunchers are in the sector between my territory and Brian's. The group in the contested sector between me and you is the Talosians. I would've had them conquered a long time ago, but I'm not used to playing in games with the surrender option unavailable. I'm used to snatching the neutral's homeworld, demanding their surrender, and that being the end of it.Arthur_Tuxedo wrote:That's those Bynar guys, right? Those guys are a bunch of assholes. Every neutral I know has their attitude at "murderous" right now, except for the Talosians, ironically.brianeyci wrote:Hahaha *snicker* can't believe that's working.
I'm on military alliance with them but I can't seem to get them to partnership. Oh, does everybody have the AI's attitudes at "murderous"? Kind of strange, I have trade and research alliances with people who want to eat my brains but ah well that's interstellar diplomacy for you.
Brian
It's not working, it's just annoying. I want to build up my counter-intelligence to impossible-to-breach heights, not have it whittled down by neutrals who aren't even located close to me.brianeyci wrote:Hahaha *snicker* can't believe that's working. That's those Bynar guys, right? It was quite by accident. My explorer ship was between Dominion and Ferengi space when I re-routed it to make contact with the other Federation. It passed through the warp point into the Bynar system and got mine-fragged.Trogdor wrote:Not the Bynars. The little number crunchers are in the sector between my territory and Brian's. I'm surprised that you've even made contact with the Bynars, to tell the truth.
Damn, I guess I got it wrong in the RP thread when I told you the Talosians blew that ship up. I thought that you were going to go for a direct route from your space, through mine, and to U235's since you'd have to go through my space either way.Arthur_Tuxedo wrote:It was quite by accident. That's right, my map hasn't changed.Dalton wrote:Okay, the map update is just about done. I'm waiting on Alan for his map though. Guppy, I guess you haven't changed either, yes?
There are no alternate Ferengi. There's Feds of various points in the ST timeline available as different players, but the Ferengi haven't been around in trek for that long. One of Brian's planets could rebel, it happens sometimes, but odds are if such a faction did come into existance, Brian would crush it before it could do shit.HSRTG wrote:A funny thought occured to me as I read the RP thread, what happens if an alternate Ferengi ALSO builds the temporal shipyards and begins stealing from brianeyci's Ferengi? Or can this not happen? Are the temporal shipyards real or just RP? [/random ignorant SE4 deprived questions]
The third version of the Ferengi temporal shipyards, or spaceport depots (as the game actually calls them) also constructs at 3500 per turn.Arthur_Tuxedo wrote:What's the construct rate on the temporal shipyards, anyway? My Utopia Planetia SY's can build at 3500 per turn.
