Darkevilme, I hope your Adepts weren't planning anything...sneaky. My wizards have secrets that they don't want known.

Hmm...yes it would. I was also thinking GIANT EAGLES.
Or a mix of both

Simply putting Greek Fire on a spot will burn the hell outta that spot, but a tree is a huge thing made mostly of water and stuff that doesn't burn well. You have to generate megatons of energy to get a big fire up and going, which could mean weeks and weeks of lobbing greek fire, a good wind that blows consistently for several days, and it has to follow a drought. Despite how is seems, forest fires are probably harder to start then simply having siege engines bash the trees down.
Well, we could always fight in Summer where it is dry, and have magi sending some wind to blow some wind on the way.

It should be. Do we want to open a new thread for the storyline or have Ahklut rename the politics thread as the story thread and continue that one?

I'm still trying to juggle my OOB points and such. But I doubt I will be fighting any war any time soon, beyond retaking Byzantine lands.

I think we ought to just use the political thread to kick the game off; Zor has basically already done so in his last post. No need for another thread.

Hmm.. I'll do some writeups on the Siege of Thessaloniki and a few other cities.
Question: Is it possible to earn more Epic Magic points?

Yes, buy allocating them after the turn change (year change).

So, Karmic Knight, would you like to document our invasion of Ireland, or shall I?

How long are turns? I need to know because my leader is an elected official who rules for a term of 20 years, and he's in his 6th year of rule.

I would say a year a term is fine.

The March to the Baltic has begun. Those who don't want to be shot should stay away from the Tsardom's advancing armies.

So, with Sister Miriam apparently gone, what happens to that kingdom? Just straight up dissolved and filled with crazed Icelandic refugees and trolls instead of the quasi-40k-esque kingdom the Nun thought up?
Also: vassal states: do their liege lords control their territory as little more than puppet states, or are they essentially just allies who sit there and send back taxes and let you hire their troops?

Yes. Everything you have except for heroes and forts. And magic. Because it'd just be silly to have to pay for magic.

It should depend, Baerne and I are setting up a straight puppet regime in Ireland, but other states,
like the Imperial Netherlands, would possibly more autonomous.

It took me a while, but here's my OOB:
http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key= ... U3EQ&hl=en
So yeah, I'll get around and post up some movements. I will definitely need to raise a lot of troops in the first round. And also formulate an intel service.
We start with how many provinces again?

40, giving us 200 income per province per turn, as I recall.
