No, Knives seems somewhat rational and has an assault cannon. He may be the assassin's equivalent though.

Well, everyone (Including the Kroot) got one of each. 'Cause we need to level the playing field a little.
Right now Kruger is wishing he has some power armour.

You want power armour, how about me? I'm wearing flak and I've already pushed my psyker abilities. My only advantage is all the warm bodies I can use as blockers and my now slightly upgunned retinue.

Kruger wants power armour because he's currently carrying a chainsword, a hellgun, a meltagun, 5 grenades, 5 meltabombs, and a couple of Eldar weapons.
Edit: Oh, a psycannon too.

Hrm, where's someone to play the bad guys when you need them?
I'll work on nurturing my subplot.

The weapon support platform won't survive the long haul, but I am leaving exactly which eldar heavy weapon you guys found to you.

Backstory time, while I wait for the Lord of Necrons to reappear.

He's wrong. Terminator Armour was created to work
inside fusion reactors. An inferno pistol wouldn't even make a scratch.

Hrm. Well, the point never came up anyway.

If anyone's "taken an Iron Man out" like that, consider their head bashed in by steel fists.

No. One Iron Man was Melta'd after being run into by a Chimera and the other was... Erm... What happened to the other?

Ah yes. First had it's shoulder shot off with a melta missile, then was stabbed with a power sword, then our resident Grammaton Cleric shot the sword so it pierced the power core. Each got about 15 people IIRC.

Your the DM, but I there is a HUGE difference between being in the reactor and being in the plasma stream. The game stats are rather overwhelmingly in favor of the gun as well.

One of the "Men of Iron" was taking out by a point blank inferno pistol shot, after it had taken some additional damage to its carapace IIRC.

The words in the text that reffered to that were "wade through the plasma stream" IIRC.

That was last night. Necronlord already knows about it.
The Iron Man had been subjected to heavy artillery bombardment before.

Ho hum.
What's coming next will make them seem pleasant in comparison.

I think the one I hit with a Melta-Missile was the one run over by the Chimera. The one Chapel nailed was also hit with an exploding plasma pistol, IIRC.
And I think it should be noted that at least one of the Iron Men Gaunt fought in
First & Only was taken down by a bayonet to the face.

I beg to differ, but if I my source is 1st edition so your source may have priority. Of course, that's just exo armour. Terminator armour is an uparmoured version. As I said, its your call.

The one if First and Only was also slow enough that it failed to kill Gaunt. NecronLord's are clearly a superior version.

The ones in First and Only were just built- It's not surprising they weren't up to spec.

They could have been line infantry model and we get the elite special forces version.

Essentially, yes, they are. The one in First and Only
- Didn't know what it was, and had only just awakened.
- That one was unarmed.
- Was corrupted. Usually this makes it stronger in 40K, but I'm doubting it in this case, the newborn was almost certainly inferior to the others.
- Was killed by a bunch of folks with character shields. You're my Player Characters. Your character shields are as tengible as a necron wraith.

But you have to be fair, right? There has to be a way out of situations, right?
Right?
Oddly enough the only char I have who has Character Shields was the one guy I intended to kill off. 8-?

I've already sacrificed a character to the Men of Iron. Who's next?
