Heh, it seemed genuinely Stavis. Of course, the chances of him getting first dibs are low. I mean, do you want to argue with trained killers for the most part and a guy packing an M29?

I love Stavis though, he is a very sharp contrast with all the other characters. I look forward to seeing how he grows, and what persuasion Stacey uses on him to keep him around.

Good picture, I'm glad to see my character has a proper 'batman' toolbelt. Kubotans are a bit smaller than that, but I'm sure that that was the best in the program.

I would not go near Santa, it is just not my thing. However, I have been quite popular with all of his little elven helpers.

I will be posting later tonight. I apologize for the delay, but I was taking care of some RL business yesterday and earlier today.

Also, this weekend might see a few posts, but volume will be much decreased since both Marcao and I are partaking in the NYC RoTK Geek Meet, which has the potential of eating up both Friday and Saturday, and potentially part of Sunday.

However, I will have my camera, so there will most likely be pictures.

A few questions about unarmed combat, especially against guys with guns (not that the deadly Microsoft troops will give me a chance to use anything).

First, if I successfully attack someone's gun unarmed can I try to take it from them?

If someone adjacent to me fires at me with a rifle, can I counter? A pistol?

And finally, if I'm usuing an attack with freetarget(general) do I get reduced penalties to target a specific body part?

Yep. With multiple actions, you can do this if you're 3 squares away by moving and disarming in the same round.

If someone adjacent to me fires at me with a rifle, can I counter? A pistol?

You'd get a pre-emptive disarm attempt, and with a +3 bonus for a rifle.

And finally, if I'm usuing an attack with freetarget(general) do I get reduced penalties to target a specific body part?

Yes. It's -2 instead of -5 for specific.

Don't worry, I don't intend to do any of this unless 1: My opponent is a pure idiot, 2: I'm already at point blank range, or 3: my tear gas has proven effective. Personally I'm a bit doubtful that you could disarm anyone from 10 feet or more without them firing...but I'm an 8th kyu, not an 8th dan.

Well no, at 2 or 3 squares you could disarm in the same round but they'd still get a shot off.

Well, I just finished running my first session of my D6 Fallout adventure. Good fun, but damn it takes a lot of time and attention.

I'm going to have to right now give a big thumbs up to Arthur for runnning Cyberpunk so well and making things fun, organized, and interesting. It sure does have to take a lot of effort (even with his 'let the players do whatever' anti-railroading ). I wont be playing as much, partiularly during the late afternoon and evenings from now on, unfortunately, but I still hope to be able to participate as long as my little bastard of a character still hangs on to his lif and his merchandise.

Speaking of which, if it's any consolation, every third guy in my Fallout adventure will basically have Stavis' general "hey, a new person! Let's take his valuables and bodily fluids, and nail his body upside-down to a post!" sort of attitude. The rest will be large, drunk, sawed-off shotgun-toting old men who shout stuff like "goddamn freakin' *mumble* blue jump-suited martains! Get offa my prop'rty!!! *mumble mumble*" so be sure to tune in for that, too.
