The Fenari (are/were) The Yosemite Bear's power. He's not active so they're sort of NPC for this game. Basically, they're a race of wolf-like creatures, they have their own navy albeit a moderate one, and they like raw meat. They joined the UTR shortly before the Halite invasion and splintered off afterwards.

Well, I'm randomly starting a little shit, anyone feel like trying to buy me off as a three system group of potentially doomed worlds?
On an unrelated note, is their any reason why one of my major worlds can't actually be a DS2 sized mobile space platform that goes from system to system eating all of the randomly floating space stuff to A. produce stuff, and B. feed the monstrous total conversion drive that keeps it going?

You are next on my list Innocent. I assure you that your...proposal shall receive an adequate amount of attention. ^_~InnocentBystander wrote:FYI: My little news bit would, no doubt, be brought to the attention of the powers in the southwestern part of the galaxy, going as far north, perhaps, as the Roma Republic.

Well, indicate where you'd like the trade route and I'll add it to the map.

It hardly matters - Hyperspace is plenty fast and being that you can go in a straight line not having to worry about anything makes it even faster.
Remember, it's much easier to stay out of the waste, if I angle it closer to Sparata I'll be putting the lane into the waste, and I don't want to do that, it could triple the time required to map it.
You are on the edge of the galaxy, you can't really epxect to be "close" to anything, if you catch my drift. Yours looks to be some star cluster beyond the galactic rim, definatly way out there. Though you might be able to recruit help patroling your part of the lane, after all, there's plenty of space there, and I'm sure there are plenty of system warlords who'd love to reap the profits that a nearby hyperlane will bring (or if nothing else, get cash for patroling a segment of space near the lane).
Any smaller lanes should connect to Blue Pointe, it was determined, as I will post tomorrow if I have the time, that it is in a particularly good position, and telescopes believe it is "very likely" that hyperlanes from many of the Western powers could very easily lead right to that spot.
Bottom line is, even at it's present distance, it will present your merchants with a safe conduit to bring their goods to places like Terra, 3SC, and really the rest of the galaxy. It should be able to cut down the travel danger considerably, as well as increase speed.
Okay, I'm tired, night! I'll see about writing a post addressing Sparata. But if you want to go ahead and write up a post, you'll essentially be asked to give a little help getting Blue Pointe Station up and running, and sending scouts and probes between BPS and your territory, to find a good, straight line. If you can think of anything else, by all means add it, ambassadors, whatever... I'm tired!

The UVP can run it's route direct from Vigora to Blue Pointe, unless one considers construction of another station between the UVP and Sabai a reasonable expenditure.InnocentBystander wrote:This isn't a bump, really!
