Its pretty whacko how weapons that can target ships, but are obviously designed to hit big things refuse to target planets :?

On a completely seperate note, i was somewhat amused to find:

New tech level: Narn mega weapons 1

Even having some options to build, especially since my own mega weapons tree is useless.

Yeah, it is messed up. This isn't even the first time I've made this mistake, either. And it probably won't be the last unless I stop playing the B5 mod after this or something.

Don't I know it. Mega Lightning Cannons can't do it either.

Most Mega Weapons trees are useless. I think only EA has any weapon of note, being the 6 reload super heavy particle beams used on the Warlocks.

Man, this is the most half-assed mod I've ever played.

Ultra weapons! Seriously, I'm going to blow up one planet in this game even if it's a random one in my system. :P

Do you have planet busting weaponry? I know that the Young Races don't.

Oh yes. At current I can destroy large size planets with my Planet Cracker Beam VII. :)

Nice, up to Turn 82 already, it took nearly half a year to get that far with the ST Game :P.

Gah. Stupid combat system started me too close to the planet...again. Last five planets...two casualites. This planet...forty. Ah well.

Set the game to After Last Player Upload. Lots of people doing lots of stuff over the next week or so.

Can some one provide a detailed method for which to export in game data (IE screen shots) to an external medium that can be posted onto this forum.

Thanks

Hit Print Screen.

Open a pixel editor. Paste. Save. Upload to an FTP server. :)

Fun fact, Alt-Print Screen will take a screenshot of only the active window, not the full desktop.

Oh hey what do you know, the Vorlons somehow control the Hurr homeworld... how did that happen?

They literally gave it to me. I didn't take it by force, I merely accepted a gift. Vorlons get -50% ground combat and that planet has like 2100 troops. *IF* I even had troops, which my allies can see I don't have the tech to produce even the smallest infantry, I'd be stretching to take the planet. That and I'd have to not have had a partnership with them for the last 30 turns. Marxis is lying flat out. :P Though I must say I have enjoyed the last few days of RP immensely. Where the hell did the Drazi come from though???

And on a side note the Brakiri are involved at last! Yay! :) Seriously I'd rather get wiped interestingly that have nothing happen.

Obviously game mechanics wise the AI is stupid. I could get all the AI's to give me all their homeworlds for pennies if I wanted to. Especially the Shadows who consider me brotherly.

You took advantage of that, but too bad in universe your cooked up explanation of the Hurr suddenly giving their homeworld away doesn't work. Obviously there was either an invasion or something going on like a virus . People won't buy your filthy xeno lies :P.

Hell, the Vorlons don't even need to use a virus. They can just mindrape an important leader or two. That's how I explained the peaceful transition of power when the Shadows dropped in on the Grome.

I think I'll keep using the Drazi. Someone needs to point out things like teep paranoia and such.

Well it didn't seem like the thing to turn down, especially since I can't colonise.

You gotta remember this is also my first game. I don't expect genius from the AI but nor am I aware of what constitutes 'normal'. I do know I'm not the first to acquire a NPC homewolrd though. If it's a no no then my bad

Ah doesn't matter. The Brakiri are knocking on your door so karma will kick in one day. And it gives me an excuse to finally move on the Hurr . I'll probably just end up gifting all the planets to Uraniun though.

Anyway how the hell did the Minbari ships fire on the Narn home planet? Aren't you two allied?

It was one of the planets that Tobor conquered.

I've set my optimal and point blank firing strategies to do not target planets :P.

I'm looking forward to that. As I said, I'd much rather an interesting death than a boring existance. :)
