I bet it would, but that would give away info that you shouldn't know. For example, the fact that the kobold was using a potion.

Standing over the headless corpse, Grozny mutters to himself, "I've been waiting 3 days for that." Turning back to the rest of the group, and ducking under the nearest cover, Grozny shouts, "Anyone got a count of how many of them there are? Or where they are?" I;ll keep on looking for kobolds again.

I send quoth over the ship, at a good enough distance so that he won't be touched by any arrows, but will be able to see.

The Kobolds are charging onto the ship, which slowly starts to pull off.

I pull out my sword, and walk towards Tsaroth, looking if I can do anything for him.

Tsaroth dosn't move, and the slowly falls sideways.

"Hate to point out the bloody obvious. But someone stop the fucking ship." Grozny bellows as he runs towards the ship, hoping to get to it before it pulls off.

I run after the ship using Fireball ont he boarding Kobolds, and not the ship, yet.

I catch Tsaroth, andmake sure he's lying safely on the ground.
Then I walk towards the ship.
