I was joking about moving it closer. But, yeah, I have no real enemies at the moment, so I will take up some of the policing duties.

Last chance to preempt a land-grab people. Doesn't anyone care about the poor, abused, pirate affiliated diplomat killing Gornath?

Upper left, harassing some poor npc bastards I contrived who would be further to the Galactic North than me. Be warned, I have pretty decent cause to fuck with them, and the ultimatum time is rapidly running short. My basic assumption is that if no one can be bothered to either play their part, or attempt to mediate, then they are guilty as hell.

To be fair, they do have some actual pirate connections. And it does further my needs, at least the acquisitive ones. :D

If you're in the galactic north, then I can't help them out much. Nashtar is a regional power for a reason; I can't afford to deploy large forces that far afield.

You could always try to mediate a peaceful solution. My people will probably go for it if it addresses all of their concerns.

Of course, Ace Pace has just given you a problem much closer to home.

Yeah, I know. I went over his post before he put it up. Formulating my response to that, still have to finish up with the other pirate business with Alyrium, and I suppose my diplomatic corps had best get busy with you. This will be after I sleep, though; it's 6:30 AM and I haven't been to bed. :P

So, Ace, your scenario. How are we playing this?

At the rate we have people jumping in, my initial plan is kinda..bunk.

I have a private end result i'm trying to steer for, but anything with those forces go, just leave 1 group reletivly healthy, to let them run.

Keep in mind, my people won't get there for a while. IC, they want to take advantage of the pirate carelessness that is bound to happen, and track down as many bases as possible as they flee in panic once they realise what they are attacking. OOC, I'm giving Rogue time to do some mediation.

To everyone that is part of the hyperlane that IB is building, I volunteer to take up the main part of policing the lane. Just contribute some ships and I will use them to keep the lane safe. If you agree then um, just say aye or something.

The UVP will police the portions of the lane running to and from Vigora (such as the current proposed Vigora to Blue Pointe route).
There are two kinds of people in the world: the kind who think it’s perfectly reasonable to strip-search a 13-year-old girl suspected of bringing ibuprofen to school, and the kind who think those people should be kept as far away from children as possible … Sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference between drug warriors and child molesters.” - Jacob Sullum

Ok. Basiclly, I am doing this because of my placement and neturality, I can take up a large portition of the patroling and everyone else can fight there wars. Or something like that. Hopefully that makes sense.

Understood, and I would accept any assistance you wish to provide in-game, just stating my position on the matter of hyperlane security.

Anyone want to play the fleet surrenduring to me?

For info, the worlds in the resolutions I've put up have the following navies:
Nowna: 1.5pt BB, 3 1pt CL, 6 3pt DD, 14 .5pt pirate vessels (mostly already captured/destroyed)

Aquarius: 2 1pt BB, 4 1 pt CL, 8 3pt DD, 26 .5pt pirate vessels(mostly already captured/destroyed)

Nikitos: 1.5pt BB, 3 1pt CL, 6 3pt DD, 14 .5pt pirate vessels (mostly already captured/destroyed)

My fleet at Nowna:
TF 2, TF 4.1-3
