Yes, that you have. And the Chamarans escaped after being actively and directly scanned by our (bog-standard Imperial) sensor systems, no less. They also know we have fairly heavy stealth frigates.

Rogue has a good point- most of our warships were built during the Empire, using technology widely available to the vassal states. There probably wouldn't be much difference between Syndicalist and Nashtar sensor systems, for instance.

I find myself in agreement here. unless we physically had a copy of the sensor array in question for precise analysis we dont have enough data to determine much more about the ship than a. full stealth, b. good sensors c. in the size range that it could be one of the Nashtari stealth frigates pod ship Melodic silence encountered in the Helios system.
Beyond that well, it matters little we'll know who sent it by who is yelling about indiscriminate orbital bombardment when the story breaks. technically the melconians were only hitting low value targets that continued to resist after being ordered to surrender but i doubt that'll make it sound better.

Well I guess our intel boys won't be able to make a match with actionable certainty then. (it was a short ass sensor sweep to work with as well.)

Ohma, not to poke you, but I'm gonna need to know how you want that damage divvied up (if you even want to bother with numbers at this point) before I can really continue.

Oh so that's what people were waiting for... I did wonder what was going on in the Gender wars.
What is everyone else waiting for? Just to check.

I'm pretty much done with this turn myself. The Melconians are digesting the Chicago System and The Company is refitting its ships and biding it's time.
Would it be fair to say the company could gain a small amount of production for the next turn through the use of its small raiders taking civilian ships?

Doesn't matter to me if they do; I plan on eventually crushing them anyway.

Excellent! The Company is a bunch that are better off dead.

Well, if all goes according to plan, I'll have plenty of shipping to attack, which will piss me off.

I need Hellion! Other than that, I'm set for the next round, though plain and simple, we need a bigger player pool.

...And I feel positively obliged to start up a resistance on the Plates, if for no other reason than I've got nothing else to do in-game.

Uh...Tan should I like, post stuff about my decoy force jumping out system and the rest jumping in? Or have you been busy?

by Tanasinn
I've been a bit busy, but another hold-up is, like I said, whether or not we're doing numbers on this initial volley before the main show, and if we are, how you chose to distribute the damage. I can't really react without knowing.

Well we can do another casting call at the end of turn 2 if we need more players. The gender wars have to happen first for that of course and i'd like to be able to actually deploy and use my expeditionary fleet in turn 2.
And thirdfain, considering how amusing it was last time i have no objection to you attempting a resistance on the plates. Though it'll mostly be between you and Raj, the Chamarans only have a limited force on Wrigley plate.

Tanasinn, pay attention.

I think that convoy's been in transit long enough.

Indeed, and another casting call would be a Good Idea.

I'll have something up shortly, Rogue 9. Sorry 'bout that.

Oh right, I'll be able to have that up tomorrow morning.

Naturally things do get fired up when I'm away for three weeks. See you guys in another week.

Gilead has 20 points of C3 from it's battleships alone; wouldn't that be enough to detect the Pod?
Posted: 2008-08-14 02:52pm
by Darkevilme
Nope.
The individual ratings simply arent up to guff Third and dont stack. The pod is unbelievably stealthy. Plus it's not really doing anything up there.

by Thirdfain
Whoa, whoa... C3 does not stack? Oh, fuck.
Posted: 2008-08-14 06:35pm
by Darkevilme
It does not stack against stealth as stealth doesnt stack. C3 stacks against other things that stack like D jamming hiding a fleet.
