I'd be willing to host a race.

Both participating and hosting. Is there multiple teams from a nation particpating, or just one?

As you can see, I'm preoccupied with other matters, but I'd love to get involved in F1 racing, both as a participant and as a potential host.
I should have the Shroompeace terrorist plot over with by tomorrow at the latest.

Sirnoth will not be entering the race, but Red Orchid Services will advertise on the Shroomanian vehicles.

Well, technically, it isn't their first. I remember Bearne taking my damn JFK class CV from me. The only thing that bugs me is that they didn't take my offer of maintenance machinery of the ship. Which leads me to wonder what shape the ship is in. The ship is nearly 2 decades old.
The simple answer is, extremely bad. We tried to commission it right after we got it, but a slew of problems, mostly involving the catapult system, forced it back into dock.
The explanation is that I forgot there was such an offer OOC, and that a Subministry of Procurement flunky fucked up in character.

Well, technically, there are 2 races to be held at each location, so I guess 2 teams per nation?

Well, I did offer that 2.5 billion, inclusive of carrier, plus a set of new turbines shafts, spare parts, and some machinery to make the parts.
It's hefty work maintaining a carrier. Not least the possibility of screws breaking....
So.. do you need help to maintain the thing... the offer still stands... 0.5billion though.

Gleefully accepted. How are we going to get the parts from Byzantium to Baerne? Shall I send a cargo ship, or shall you?

Either you commission whatever local Baern company, or I will commission Constantinople Shipping to ship the parts. Give it 2-3 months to get the shipment ready.

Right, then. Baernish Ducal Shipping is on the job.

Now, if you're talking about the MESS as an alliance and our seeming lack of alliance-wide goals you'd have more of a point there. Aside from R&D stuff, space travel, and all that we're not doing much as an entire alliance, no. But individually we're out there and doing stuff, although we are tending to be a bit more regional as of late.
Heh, I know, the President however doesn't see as much of his neighbors as he'd expected. Hence why to San Dorado you seem pretty insular.

Indeed.
Insofar as the F1 tournament is concerned, we're totally hosting a race - the La Palma Deathring usually hosts Destruction Derby and other ridiculously destructive motorsports, so vehicular carnage and spectacles are guaranteed!

So a rough draft on the season schedule:
1. Byzantium
2. USSR
3. PeZookia
4. Shroomania
5. Tian Xia (Anyone else in Messmerica?)
6. Kingdom of Mangka
7. San Dorado
8. Kingdom of Vineyards
9. Zoria.
Did I miss out any one?

Things coming soon:
1) Massive CSR post on events surrounding the last year. I want to
tally up a bit
2) Maps, schemes and/or spreadsheet explanations of Old Continent radar installations, ABM and IADS systems.
3) Maps of MRBM arsenals of the CSR.

CSR is not playing in the races this year (our car industry is, eh... kinda lacking

) but we will some time in the future

An INSANE long endurance rally race, through the arctic tundra, where vehicles must be armed with harpoons in case of polar bears or walruses attacking them... and shit!
We can have the Shroomanian rally team get lost and degenerate to cannibalism in the Siberian wastes!
YES!
Do it, Stas! Just to see Shroomanians eat each other.
Oh, and how is COMMUNE-1 doing? I think Stephen Shroom-King would be, like, totally advertising his horror-physics novels to his newfound comrades.

Hmm.. Siberian rally requires a totally different car, optimized for different things....

The.. tire is flat.
But yeah, you will need heavily reinforced tires, a big fat fuel tank, a 4WD system, good suspension, along with a fairly high HP engine.

Shroomania
is part British. We have Shroom Rovers. Man Rovers? I need something that sounds sufficiently silly.
Those tires are flat since the less pressure in them means they'll handle easier on surfaces that are not optimal for fully inflated tires (i.e. softer surfaces, or not roads). For some off-road racing involving rather jagged rocks and obscene angles, the tires are decisively very un-inflated.
I don't know if tires are supposed to be flat on snow, though...

Nicely written Paul, what do you say we start the main course.
And Fuck yes, Sarajevo will host a race.
And Stas I would like to send some scientists to Commune-1(If I haven't already.

By the way since I'm basically Borneo it seems that I have a considerable number of diamonds. So what is the diamond price like in SDNworld? Is there a de Beers that manipulates the prices, or have the diamond price crashed utterly at some point?
