By the time you get there, all you'll see is tugs towing the 3 interdictors.consequences wrote:Keep in mind, my people won't get there for a while. IC, they want to take advantage of the pirate carelessness that is bound to happen, and track down as many bases as possible as they flee in panic once they realise what they are attacking. OOC, I'm giving Rogue time to do some mediation.Ace Pace wrote:At the rate we have people jumping in, my initial plan is kinda..bunk.Rogue 9 wrote:So, Ace, your scenario. How are we playing this?
I have a private end result i'm trying to steer for, but anything with those forces go, just leave 1 group reletivly healthy, to let them run.
And a big hearty THBBBPPPTTT!!! to you too.Ace Pace wrote:By the time you get there, all you'll see is tugs towing the 3 interdictors.consequences wrote:

Well, at the rate we're writing this, and the slow speed, you might have a chanceconsequences wrote:And a big hearty THBBBPPPTTT!!! to you too.Ace Pace wrote:By the time you get there, all you'll see is tugs towing the 3 interdictors.consequences wrote:

I was envisioning a far more chaotic event, with cat and mouse games going on at least long enough for my people to expend some ammunition. Next time I'll just carry on with my imperialism then.
Well you told me not to do anything else until you posted, and you haven't posted.Ace Pace wrote:Well, at the rate we're writing this, and the slow speed, you might have a chanceconsequences wrote:And a big hearty THBBBPPPTTT!!! to you too.Ace Pace wrote: By the time you get there, all you'll see is tugs towing the 3 interdictors.![]()

Easily, you get destroyers, they get Torpedo frigetes, I get a Dreagnaught and 3 destroyersRogue 9 wrote:How in the hell are you simulating at least one supercapital that can hull a one-point battleship with two or three shots, not to mention whatever the hell the Hub can do?
You using Rogue's or Beowulf's numbers? and if so, which building priority is this supposed to fall under?InnocentBystander wrote:I've posted my construction list, being 9/20/150, which would be the "Buildup" category. Seems fair considering the circumstances... any objections? (other than an objection to the suggested numbers)
You know, this is why I should make arrangements to get a visit from Captain Obvious before I make an ass of myself. Again.White Haven wrote:Shockingly enough, given that he said 'Buildup,' I'd assume that he's using the 'Buildup' numbers from Rogue's set.
Okey, then mind if I cover your(ally) ass, and send you to help out with the Array instead of sending you to deal with 3 enemy battle groups?White Haven wrote:Negative, the Third is pre-refit, and contains none of the Warspite long-range missile bombardment platforms. You've got a Greylight close-attack battleship, plus assorted Godhand and Pegasus cruisers and North Star escort carriers and a boarding craft covering each ship in close range. The Godhands have some long-range tubes, but not on the scale of an all-up battlecruiser. The Third is a low-priority formation at the moment.
