At the rate we have people jumping in, my initial plan is kinda..bunk.

I have a private end result i'm trying to steer for, but anything with those forces go, just leave 1 group reletivly healthy, to let them run.
Keep in mind, my people won't get there for a while. IC, they want to take advantage of the pirate carelessness that is bound to happen, and track down as many bases as possible as they flee in panic once they realise what they are attacking. OOC, I'm giving Rogue time to do some mediation.
By the time you get there, all you'll see is tugs towing the 3 interdictors.

And a big hearty THBBBPPPTTT!!! to you too. :D

I was envisioning a far more chaotic event, with cat and mouse games going on at least long enough for my people to expend some ammunition. Next time I'll just carry on with my imperialism then.

Well, at the rate we're writing this, and the slow speed, you might have a chance :)

Well you told me not to do anything else until you posted, and you haven't posted. :P

I blame my non existent writing skills for the slow post, and the fact I'm doing something stupid with this, such as simming this in Homeworld ;)

How in the hell are you simulating at least one supercapital that can hull a one-point battleship with two or three shots, not to mention whatever the hell the Hub can do? :P

Easily, you get destroyers, they get Torpedo frigetes, I get a Dreagnaught and 3 destroyers :P

everyone wins ;)

Guys on second thought just ignore the ship request. What I meant was that you contribute some ships to the defense, not give them to me. I was just going to write posts where they were defending the lane.

I've posted my construction list, being 9/20/150, which would be the "Buildup" category. Seems fair considering the circumstances... any objections? (other than an objection to the suggested numbers ;) )

You using Rogue's or Beowulf's numbers? and if so, which building priority is this supposed to fall under?

Shockingly enough, given that he said 'Buildup,' I'd assume that he's using the 'Buildup' numbers from Rogue's set.

You know, this is why I should make arrangements to get a visit from Captain Obvious before I make an ass of myself. Again.

So we're using Beowulf's numbers then? there should have been an or betweent he two names in my last post.

Actually, he's using Beowulf's numbers. Mine were lower than that.

I don't recall, most likely whichever one was most recent. Was there a mod ruling on it, I don't recall...

I don't recall a final ruling on it...that would be kinna useful, yes. S'why I've held off my own post along those lines. :)

Hell, I've actually asked in this thread for clarification. I'm going to post my builds now, and edit them down if need be.

White, are those your newest ships? then I'd like for you to hang back and use your range to pummel them.

Negative, the Third is pre-refit, and contains none of the Warspite long-range missile bombardment platforms. You've got a Greylight close-attack battleship, plus assorted Godhand and Pegasus cruisers and North Star escort carriers and a boarding craft covering each ship in close range. The Godhands have some long-range tubes, but not on the scale of an all-up battlecruiser. The Third is a low-priority formation at the moment.

Okey, then mind if I cover your(ally) ass, and send you to help out with the Array instead of sending you to deal with 3 enemy battle groups? ;)

Consider the Third one HELL of a backstop. Post-refit Sixth squadrons are far nastier :)

...BWAH! That phrasing cracks me up. :) I'll see about getting stuff posted when I get home from work....meh, reality needs to go away for a while, I hate being tired.
