Darthkommandant, you have PM.

So long as you understand that we are an Imperial faction and you don't have a problem with that. A kinder, gentler Empire, but still an Empire.
IOW, while I have no OOC objections to more trade pacts (I'm a greedy bastard, what can I say?) I have to give it some consideration on whether my IC self would deal with the Bothans. At this stage they might for sheer pragmatism; anything to get more money and resources is worth swallowing a little pride.
Of course, things could change as we get richer and expand some...
So a tentative yes to your proposal. Though we might want to work out some IC post via PMs. Just because it should prove to be amusing to have a Bothan ambassador meet with some Imperials.

I was going to try for a post tonight, but am in no shape to do so. however It is fascinating to note that of all the force users in game 5 of the master ranked are sith or sith allies and the last is a religious dictator. They also out number all the rest of the force users who are ran by players.
As such I am looking for any thoughts on how to equalize the playing field a bit. Even if you are on the sithy players and have a good idea I would love to hear it to make the game interesting.

The Imps answer is obvious - more Yalsamiri. For example, every important person on my side is already guarded by the Red Guard, who are Yalsamiri-equipped.
Also, I shall soon introduce something at the end of the year that will make the sith get very, very upset.

What? A Vornskyr/Ysalamiri combo? We have thought about that, but's chiefly to hunt down and kill Jedi.

A virus to track down the force users? That will be interesting. Then we would simply obliterate everything with a indiscriminate virus too. Or should we resort to other bioweapons?
This will not be fought and won through the Force, I can assure you that. It will through brute force and destruction. Commence Exterminatus!

That would be quite idiotic. For once, I have no access to Vornskyr.

Brute force is the tool of someone who can't think of proper strategy.

Nah. It has worked. Even if it has to be indiscriminate biowarfare.

YOu buy Ysalamiri yet you don't buy Vornskyr's? From the same damnable planet that is the pickle in my eye?

Core Protectorate (Mr Bean)
Corellia (RogueIce)
Republic of Haven (Beowulf)
Sith (DarthShady)
Neimodia (Darthkommandant)
Concordat Alliance (Coyote)
Gordian Dominion (SiegeTank)
Etti Theocracy (AMT) (agreed to in PM)
= + 325, 13 trade pacts in total.
+ 25 points from AMT (slated for the reconstruction costs at Coruscant)
= 2350 points to spend.
- 250 for reconstruction on on Coruscant and Anaxes
- 265 for fleet upkeep
- 6 penalty for two elite units
- 51 for defence installations
= - 572 points.
1778 points to spend.
- 1 planetary shield network for Ryloth = 20 points
- 2 Heavy Divisions = 18 points
- 6 Heavy Infantry divisions = 36 points
- 4 VSDII = 32 points
- 36 Decimators assault ships = 18 points
- 8 Carrack Cruisers = 32 points
- 75 for three holonet stations
- 1 3600m shipyard 600 points
- 2 1600m shipyard 520 points
- Orbital Repair Yard Type II 80 points
- Scimitar "White Death" wing (elite bomber wing, 3 Scimitar, 3 TIE Advanced squadrons) 9 points to raise, 4 to maintain.
= 338 points left, going to bank.
13 trade pacts left
- 6 for anaxes reconstruction
7 trade pacts left
Anaxes reconstruction to be completed in 6-8 years.
Slated for completion in 2 years: 3600m shipyard
Slated for completion within the year: Everything else.
With regards to the ships: I currently have 4 1000m shipyards and 4 800m shipyards. The 1000m shipyards will be busy the year with building Carracks, whereas the 4 800m shipyards still have two months of building time left, which will be filled with the decimators in one case. The other three will be left to do repair work over the last two months.

As another matter:
The Imperial Remnant will be looking for ways to expand its fleet this game year. Therefore, I am looking for offers on:
- Vindicator class or other cruisers (first priority)
- frigates (most likely Neb-B or Lancers)
Please send me your offers via PM.

I have reviewed Thanas's budget. The math works out. It is approved.
I'll post my own for my fellow mods to approve soon.

We can't spend our trade treaties on planet reconstruction and the points themselves at the same time right?

Why not? What I am using here is eschewing my planetary improvement effect on the planetary reconstruction. After all, you can still get the points after improving a planet, so why shouldn't it be the same for reconstruction?

Oh no, I'm just seeking clarification. I was wondering if I were to raise a planet to higher status, does that mean the trade treaties used to raise the status or reconstruct it, meant that the points from the treaties can't be used.

The rules are quite clear on this, methinks.
Finally, I notice some of you are paying for your expansion out of budget. Please note these are extra points, you don't have to pay for them. You can however chose not to expand and then just add them to the budget, but please do say so.
For me, I will expand, it is just not revealed in the budget because that would give away the storyline.
Also note - if you want to take a world that is not an invention of yours, please PM the mods for approval.

So I'm in the process of formulating my budget for this year. But first I'm going to totally redo my OOB layout. The one I used was basically for the ease of tabulating points. Now I'll organize stuff into "which shipyard is where, which ship is assigned to what fleet" and so on. The actual numbers of assets won't change, just the layout. I'll keep the original format around on a text file though, just for the sake of records I guess.
And away I go! *wooshes into the night*

Well, folks, I'm afraid it has become quite evident that I just do not have time to keep up with this; as I initially feared when it was first proposed. I'm going to have to bow out.
I'd like to keep My Chommel Sector holdings for any future return, but I'll cut Hosk/Kalarba free and Arbra as well. I'd also like to keep Maris Brood as a potential Jedi but if someone really, really wants to use her in the future contact me and I'll negotiate.
I'll cut Rogue Squadron loose, too, if anyone wants them. I'll even be generous and say that their little stopover on Naboo allowed them to rest, rebuild, and their X-Wings are in tip-top shape since I already invested points in them.
Trade deals, etc, I made should still be considered valid but obviously I won't be making any more. I'd like to keep what's left in the event I can return to this scenario 'cause I really like it; I just lack time in my life right now.
So consider the Concordat to be an "isolationist" minor power of a handful of planets.

What are the costs of the passenger/transport ships listed?
Republic Passenger Tranports, Shuttles, Couriers and Liners:
Nubian H-Type Personal------------ Length: 47 meters (2 months)
Shuttle, KDY Lambda-class--------- Length: 20 meters
Troop Transport, Triumph-class---- Length: 31 meters
Troop Transport, SFS Sentinel----- Length: 35 meters

We expect you to charge yourself a reasonable amount.
For example, if you buy a whole wing of them, we expect you to charge yourself 1 or 2 points. If you buy yourself a very expensive ship of state, the same applies. But if you just buy one or two, no cost applies at these would be unreasonable.
Of course, this varies greatly on ship type - for example, the Nubian yacht by Padme Amidalia would be quite expensive, of course.
EDIT: Also, when did you acquire holonet access?

Also - if you send delegates, please only write their arrival at Coruscant and at the Skyhook, Feena then has a speech to make to you.

Thanas I thought that per the back story that Coyote posted that it has been two years since the cataclysmic Coruscant battle. Perhaps an edit is in order?
