By the by Arthur, the brainstorming session for the sekrit projekt went well. Hammering out things quite nicely, and hopefully it will be ready for the initial stages in a week or so. Public revelations will be carried out then.

I am not posting again with Ernesto, considering that I already said what I wanted to do with him on my last post. He is going to aim for two solid seconds and then try and frag himself some exo-armors.

I'll have a reply up tomorrow morning after work. Sorry for the delay.

I hope I'm not supposed to know what that means, because I don't :D

I bet Yuuki could imporvise a pretty good thermite grenade out of the thermite, C4 and detonators he ought to have in his traveling kit. A detonator, with a dab of C4 on it, in the middle of some thermite chunks, in a baf or can or something. I don't know how hard thermite is, though, so I can't say how long it will take to get it into chunks. Maybe I could let the explosive do that... I don't know this stuff, but someone with an 8 in demolitions ought to.

My two cents

I have no doubt that Yuuki could probably do all the things you mentioned. I mean, damn he does have a rating of 8 in demolitions. However, unless it was prepared before hand it is going to take time. And with those heavily armored freaks out there, time may be something we don't have. :(

Congratulations are in order. It appears that two of us have made it to Jedi Knight status.

To commemorate the event, I've Marcao-ized the assault on our base.

A hush falls over the battlefield. The floor is littered with the bodies of the dead and the dying. A thick haze smelling of ozone and burnt flesh still hangs in the air. The armored soldiers survey the carnage and in a flash they are all standing at attention on either side of the hall.

A tall dark figure strides confidently from the elevator. He too gazes at the bodies on the ground. Behind his mask he grins with satisfaction. He spies a man laying prone on the ground. The man in black picks him up by his neck.

One of the armored soldiers whispers "The plans are not in the database."

"Where are the plans you stole?" The man in black queries menacingly.

"We didn't steal any plans! We're just a simple research science group!"

The man in black is angered by the insolent response and begins to crush the rebel's neck. "If this is an research group then where are the researchers!?" The man struggles for a moment but in his last dying breath he cries out in pain. The man in black hurls him against the wall and shouts an order to the surrounding troops. "Commander, tear this base apart until you've found those plans! And bring me the scientists. I want them alive!"

Get out of my head. I'm not kidding. No lie, I was just thinking about that.

Just to clarify, Art, only one of the shields has been broken, along with the 3 guys behind it? So that's still 1 shield bearer, 1 machine gunner, and 1 RPG-wielder, right?

Also, CorSec, I got your updated sheet for Blaine, but I haven't had time yet to upload to the site. Even though the semester just started and things aren't crazy yet, I'm working more than I was last semester and have one more class, so I have a lot less free time. That said, I'll update Blaine's sheet tomorrow at work. That's one great thing about IT, as long as you're doing something on the computer, it looks like you're being productive. :D

He probably won't be ready in time to do anything, but if the goons take out Ernesto with their rockets and proceed to lay waste you'll be glad when I come to save the day. Behold the power of the sock grenade!

Mikal update

Hey all:

Hotfoot has departed for Sin City today and will not be back until late Sunday. As such, I will be taking control of Mikal until the appointed time when the prophet returns. :)

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

Is suddenly dressed in black from head to toe with a psy-core insignia pin on the right side of his suit. "Ah CorSec, if you could understand that without the sleepers these things come naturally to me. I will attempt not to take any liberties with your mind, but I cannot promise anything..."

But...but..everyone loves Ernesto!

I think that the way it worked was that there were two shield carriers, with two guys behind each individual shield carrier. Ernesto's rocket just gibbed the shield carrier and the two targets behind the shield carrier.

That leaves one shield carrier, one RPG wielder and one machinegun lover.

That is the setup I have been using as of late when posting with Ernesto.

AP used?

hmmm, I am not sure by reading your post if I used my AP or not Arthur. A little clarification please? ^_^

Yeah you did. Normal rolling won't save you from total RPG devastation :)

P.S. Oddly enough (or not odd at all when you think about it), a normal dodge roll WOULD apply if someone shot an RPG at you while you were standing in the open, but from behind solid cover, you'd be goo-ified.

Ahem...

Not to be a pain, but what about me?

I mean, if I'm dead or something, that's cool. But what about Stacey? Surely she'll be useless for a hundred rounds or so - what with all the crying and lamenting.
