Tsaroth laughs

Tsaroth mumbles a few quick words and reaches inside his robes. He pulls out Mr. Toad. His familiar, but something was odd. He was wearing a bow tie and a top hat.

"He says for me to tell you 'this one definently practices'"

Mr. Toad flips out his tounge and grabs a moth thet came flitting out of the mages robes

The mayor does O_o....

Mayor: "bu....bu the toad is.....er right. Ineedtogobreakthenewstothetownbye."

The Mayor runs back to town.

Druid: "Was that really nessiscary?"

"No, but it was rather funny. "

The druid shakes his head.
"Is our busness concluded then?"

"Yes it is. Though, I wish to speak wth the Kobald captain if that is possible. I need to know what his intentions are"

"hat can be arranged, if you would just come with me."*he motions*

Keenan chuckles as he sees the mayor run. "That was fun, alright. But not entirely necessary..."
He closes his eyes for a moment, until he sees a tiny dark fleck grow into his familiar. "I doubt he'd like pseudo dragons then.." He lands on his shoulders.
As Tsaroth and the Druid walks away, he tags along. "I'm quite interested in that Kobold, as well..."

As you walk through the forest, you shortly arrive at the kobold camp. Odd, you could have sworn that the camp was hours away.........

The druid waits, and the kobold leader walks up.
"I assume from the mages smug expression that the human had one of their rare moments of intellegence?"

Druid: "Yes, however, our aggreement still stands."

Kobold: "Good." *turns to the two PC's* "What are you here for?"

"I just want to know your intentions. Do you want to attack those humans?"
Keenan nodded in the direction of the town.

"I am here, to ascertain your intentions. We have reached a settlement with The druids *nods toward the druid* but you are employed by a third party... So we need to know if we can expect an attack from your end."

"You can safely expect every human in that town to be dead by the day after tomorrow."

"Sweet mother... Will you allow this my druid friend? Or will all my negotiations come to nothing? And am I going to have to hightail it out of this forest before you all kill me?"

"How do you come to such a...terminal conclusion? There are many able-handed men in the town, willing to defend it. YOu will loose many men, too."

mumbles 2 words and activates boots of haste and mage armor ring

Druid: "Worry not, there will be no blood shed in this wood. We will not permit it. You said somthing to me once, that wars come and go, and that populations change because of it. No matter what we do here, we will be affecting the outcome of this war. If the kobolds attack the humans, humans will die. If we attack the kobolds will die. If we seer the kobolds away from the humans, the will simply raid someone else. If the kobolds were raiders, killing for bloodlust, then we would intervene. But we will not stop them, simply because you happen to be on the other side."

Pointing to the kobolds. "Can't you, or someone, get them to a place where they don't need to be raiding? There's more to life than just this..."

"I understand. You must maintain the balance through neutrality. With that, I hope that I can have more pleasant dealings with you after I send these Kobalds straight to the the Abyss. Goodbye my friend. I hope that battle does not damage the landscape overmuch..."

I Turn around, and leave the forest.

"Hey," he scurries towards Tsaroth. "Wait for me. I don't want to be all alone in that forrest..."

When we are past hearing distance, I whisper to Tsaroth "What do we do, if they attack the village? Help them?"

"There are at least 3 well trained and ready mages in the town, possibly four if he stays with us. The Kobalds major advantage is numbers and artillery. If we can get rid of those, we will win. Battle spells are very handy for that purpose."

"If you'll stay and fight, I will guard your side, my love."

"I cannot stay and let these people be butchered... My spells are your spells my love"
