Is that a system with five stars? :wtf:

Yup. They're exceedingly rare in Adamant but they exist.

It looks like Ancient ships are set correctly in the mod at 30 engines per move instead of 10 for the younger races' base ships. Although you can get a lot more than 2 movement out of that thing. You just have to take off 1 engine, 64 trips the wrap-around.

I'm going to be gone today and most of tomorrow, so don't expect a turn from me until tomorrow (Friday) evening.

That's actually wrapped around twice. I can't get them past speed 12 I believe the maximum was.

Victory is mine! Now I must go savor it, because if I get another one in this game, it'll probably be by hanging onto somebody else's coattails.

Heh heh everything's happening exactly as I planned. Or Marxis planned. Er I planned. Whatever.

Did you plan on getting censured? :P

I expected something to happen and I knew since before Mesopotamia was built the Corporate Sector would need allies to win votes. Guppy coming in with the Drazi was unexpected and might throw off the deadlock. It depends whether G'Kar's more pissed off about Marxis threatening to enslave his people (which ended up not happening) or whether G'Kar's more pissed off at four billion Narns being killed and whether he likes the one hundred billion dollars of debt (one million minerals) forgiven. Which happens anyway whether or not G'kar votes yes or no.

Too bad I didn't realize that Alshain would be a backstabbing cuntface, I should have sold all those warships to the Narns or the Dilgar instead of giving them to Earthforce . But Marxis wants a golden age of mankind so it made sense at the time, plus I needed maintainence free to build my doom fleetTM

I was kidding :P. (Hence the emoticon, body language and facial expression don't carry in the internet, I actually knew you would do that all along and you're working in character :D).

Would have been funnier if I had said "turned his back on mankind" lol but the joke didn't carry well, sorry for the confusion.
"Quite frankly, Earth is not interested in hearing whatever concessions you expect us to make to retain your good favor."
Sure you are... all you have to do is bend over, it'll be quick and painless...

I'm actually annoyed at the way I'm handling Magnan, but I really think it's time for our 'relationship' to enter a new phase.

Ok, I'm confused. Is there a League? And if so who is a part of it?

Posted: 2006-04-07 11:42pm
by brianeyci
Well the Drazi wherever the hell they are. I think in the show all league worlds stuck together to counterbalance the major powers so the league is one group.

<edit>I'm guessing you might not like Guppy coming in after he quit. Well the Shadows wouldn't have a vote anyway and Guppy would have been a natural choice to represent all the league worlds if he'd stayed... representative of Mr. Defel working behind the scenes (too bad Mr. Defel got killed so quickly lol should have parked your battlecrab over my space Guppy :D).

Besides if all the dominoes fall in place it might not be a 5-4 your way. It could be a 4-4 tie or if the right people side it could be 5-4 my way. The RP's just for fun anyway don't have to go crazy over it :P.

They have a seat at the table. I've only used them to point out things that I feel people have overlooked. They're not going to be powerbrokers or anything, just try and maintain some sense of sanity.

Guys, please have your RP characters find some patience. Time is needed for the events at M6 to filter back to G'Kar and for G'Kar to consider them. Remember, G'Kar is also the one who called for the censures in the first place, so it would look silly for him to turn around and ignore them.

I'll have my answer soon.

Besides, my weekend has been hella busy :D

Oh, I'm very patient--Marxis and Vera on the other hand don't like to be kept waiting. Time costs money lol.

Besides like Vir says a Personal Transport can outrun a warship and leave Bab--er Mesopotamia Six before an attack because it has 54 move points (Even though in the television show it only takes a second for a jump gate to open and a warship to shoot the frickin' station up), so G'kar should be there by now! :D

He probably just wants to take a ship of Narn design. Would you like to show up in a ship that somebody else made?

And I told you I haven't seen the TV show, just The Gathering and In the Beginning. And the Vorlon fleet took their sweet time charging up their weapons in the former. :P

If somebody blows my scout, I'll just RP the tram in M6 breaking on Vir or something, and the pilots not be willing to leave without him.

Uhh, no; the jump gate at Babylon 5 was sufficiently far away that a ship that just came out of it generally was not in weapons range. (Usually, it would be some time after they emerged that they would be approaching weapons range.)

Ships in B5 that opened up their own jump points could certainly have come in blasting, but otherwise no.

You don't have jump drives yet? Damn.

Oh well Marxis told another lie, I'm not going to cry about it.

G'Kar isn't coming to M6, he's sending an Ambassador from one of the sanctuary worlds under the administration of the Narn.

I'll be preparing a response to the current censure motions in the next few minutes.

Just a reminder for those who don't know or forgot, Tobor is away for the weekend. He'll be back roughly 24 hours from now. He has told me that at the moment he's going to vote in favour of his allies, though he hasn't read the thread. I wouldn't expect it to change his mind though.
