If there is something for TIE Fighter, I haven't found it. Sorry for the confusion! As far as I know, there is just this project for X-Wing Alliance.
There's a project using the X-Wing Alliance engine to totally remake TIE Fighter. As far as I know, it is complete, though I'm not sure if it includes the expansion packs. I believe there's a link to it on Wikipedia - or Wookiepedia? One of the two.
Wow, well I will definitely need to check that out.

Deus Ex makes me so happy whenever I replay it. I don't know why, but I consider Walton Simons one of the most bad-ass characters in existence.

"I think you should know, you will confess. I don't like to dirty my hands with this sort of thing but...you will confess."

"I am a...patient man." "Ask me if I care!" "...but not that patient," *bang*

"Laugh it up, Denton. The fact is, you're obsolete, and it's time for you to retire."

I miss System Shock 2 so much. The original cd I got has cracked and is unusable, and I'm willing to give sexual favours to anyone who can provide me with a copy that will run. Hell, in the Werewolf campaign I'm running, one of the main villians is based off of her voice and attitude. Everyone in the campaign agrees it is delightfully creepy.

Other than that...

Diablo 2, an old favourite
Starcraft (and the expansion)
The original Doom and Doom 2.
Mechwarrior 2. That game alone actually got me into measuring weapons efficiency, fire-rate, damage, and heat production.
Gaian Paradigm: Because not all fantasy has to be childish crap.
Ephemeral Pie: Because not all role-playing has to be shallow.
My art: Because not all DA users are talentless emo twits.

I've been playing Micro Machines 2 with my flatmates lately.

Ah, memories...

I just finished playing through the original System Shock again- unfortunately the Cyberspace battle at the end is unbeatable because my PC is too fast- the screen fills up with SHODAN's face before you can get more than a few Pulser shots off.

System Shock 2 coming up soon.
