Clearly your faith in the machine spirit is not adequate. Flagellate yourself, heretic.

We appear to be waiting on Nixios. If not, then I say we get this meeting started already!

I believe the appropriate terms is "balls, i fucked up."
I'll post when I get home in a few hours. Work frowns on me doing creative fiction on the clock and all.

So, who are we waiting for now?

It's entirely possible that in my post-larp stupor, I missed the posts on Monday.

Eveyone is pretty much either sleeping or going to meet the ganger boss at the moment.

So who's around to be our spokesman? I'd say Preacher Havelock, but sylasgaunt hasn't been around recently.

I have a reply ready, but I figure I'll give it a day for someone else to be able to chime in if they wish. As much as I really, really want to get this moving again, I don't want to steal all of the attention.

Oh Damn it Hotfoot Grim is going to be like,
"You saw the Heresy and are now corrupted! You must die!"
You wouldn't do that would you?

Of course not, not at all...
By the way, this weekend at DEXCON I will be running a live Dark Heresy Game (Already Full, with alternates). The events in that game will have consequences for the team in this game.
Just so you all are aware...

Hotfoot, that's pretty cool. Do we get to know anything about that game or are the consequences just going to make themselves clear in ours?

I just found out that FFG has published an errata.
http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/dark- ... a-v1-0.pdf
The maximum situational modifi ers in combat should be
+60/–60, instead of +30/–30 as described in the Combining
Difficulties sidebar on page 197.
Ah, sweet vindication.

That's a lot of assault cannon hits on the t-rexoid. Fitting.

You will get to know details of that game as they become relevant to your game.
And nice errata, glad I did that anyway

Hmm.. so what do the rest of you think? Hit him with the truth or try to BS our way out of it?

Well Block has chosen to break out the BS. Personally, I wouldn't have said arbites as he did though. Too official. A subtle route would have been to be say we were mercenaries working on behalf of a lord, agents of the church, or the like. Priests do have kill teams in 40

. If we go with Block's arbites story (which we kind of have to at this point) Grim may think we are going to bust his ass for no reason or something similar.
Edit: Also a hell of a time to have my character sleeping. I'm missing the chance to stand around, look intimidating and think dark thoughts about the negotiations

. Can't complain too much though. I had my glory tracking down the heretic with the map.

Like he didn't peg us for Arbites anyways with the awful accent that Rip was using. It plays into what he expects, and if we were there to bust him, we'dve tried to do it already.

Yeah there was that accent to deal with. As for busting him, what Grim would fear is that we give him up or purge him after his usefullness has ended. Though he'd be free to think that no matter who we say we represent. So I guess we just go on with no one trusting anyone else, as per usual

Of course we're going to purge him after his usefulness is ended! It's just that we need to wring out the rest of that usefulness first.

The con game had an interesting result, and the implications should be felt in the near future.

Fuck, its been so long that I can't even remember what information we could have to come up with a plausible lie!
Also, I suppose the one thing we might have is the fact that technically the Arbites aren't supposed to give a fuck about guys like Grim. So long as they aren't trafficking in warp or xeno materials, technically they aren't breaking Imperial law, just local ones... if i remember my fluff right. Of course, a fact like that probably calls for something like a knowledge check for Imperim or Imperial Lore, so I guess we'll see if any of the characters would know enough to present an argument like that.

Just please don't kill me while I sleep

. Lazarus is sleeping fitfully, so that would mean a guy sneaking into his room to slit his throat would wake him up, right?
Edit: Now the shit will hit the fan I suppose. Hotfoot, what's going on with the people not in the meeting room btw? (Am I getting shot while I sleep or what?)
Edit mk2: Is Nixios in the meeting room? I think he's outside somewhere. Perhaps we should determine where everyone is located?

Figured this would happen, but it was worth a try talking to the man first. At least we know we have a link here, assuming we survive.
