Another capitalist paradise? You'll be getting your "JOIN CATO NOW" letter in three to six days.

He was part of OMSK, which in many ways was the idealogical predecessor of CATO. (and CATO was almost called OMSK)

I seem to recall this from my dim knowledge of the first SDNWorld. But, previous association aside, you guys are usually pretty quick about gettin' them JOIN CATO letters out.

Hey, I have sat right next to CATO's borders for years and no one invited me.

Did my letter get lost in the post?

Didn't you join, like...a RL month ago and almost immediately recieve your JOIN CATO letter?
Anyways. Worked all night, going to bed, don't blow up the planet while I'm sleeping, etc.

Indeed so, I was with things from the very start and helped put together some of the early alliances between Shroomania and the OMSK Pact.
As far as this "CATO" you speak of, Crossroadia is always interested in forging new alliances with other power brokers for the betterment of Humanity and the expanding Industrial Harmony

I played a bit in early 2013, game time and then left for a while, I only just recently returned and it was I who kind of went to CATO, not the other way around.
Cialan would also welcome deals with Crossrodia.

Heh. Take a trip to Constantinople and Stasograd. We have much to discuss.
After OMSK disintegrated, largely instigated by myself, and subsequently Stas, the SNC was formed that stayed true to the original ideas. That was repeated this game and then it expanded into CATO after the addition of Shroomania, and finally the NFT and Duchy of Baerne.
Bluewolf: I think in general CATO has no objections to your observer status. Just get your populace wrapped around the idea of a full membership, and we can write the final signature.

Nolder: Well thats going to kind of hoppen backwards. What I am going to do is have the signature be one of intent then the vote. Normally this would be the other way around but its just happened in such a manner. I was going to talk with you and Shady about this IC iirc so I am just waiting for that (I assume the meeting will be done in unreal time?)

I don't doubt that but, and my point remains, that even with Indhopal and others signing on the S-3 program would consume a huge portion of his defense spending. Assuming that Shrommia and Indhopal are both helping to finance the S-3 project that still requires somebody outlay the tens of billions neccessarry for this kind of development project. There is no way its corporate (as I pointed out) because of the sunk cost and lack of return so it has to be government expenditure and in turn the economies suppporting this expenditure are not large enough to fund such high speed development without seriously reducing all other short and medium term R&D.
You make a pretty persuasive case right there.

Good heavens you got Both Shroomy AND the Duchy to join up with the former OMSK Pact members? I am very impressed, Where can I find an outline of the Current "CATO" mission statement as it where, im curious how much it has changed form the original OMSK Ideals.

Pretty much.. FUN had disintegrated more or less as a political entity in this game.

Probably could I guess. I mean, one thing holding it up is Shady is pretty busy right now.

Ah.. I think some of us are already trying to find time to write up a post... but well, if you are busy, you could just set up one OOB and post it on the Wikia instead of a double post.

Simply put, we shall do the meeting in unreal time. Maybe we could do it as some sort of flashback so it fits in better with the whole storyline. I doubt this is the first time its been done. On top of that Shady wont mind at all. I don't think anyone will to be honest.

So I take it that Lonestar just conquered another NPC, which just happened to be ruled by a pedophile so that he could have some kind of moral justification for it...
tl;dr. What happened to the girl in the end, anyway? I hope she got away.

Dude, San Fuego's been in the OD's sights since...well, since before Shepistan get bio-death-killed. He didn't just pull it out of nowhere.
And he didn't conquer anything (well, not with that post anyway). He just killed the leadership.

Czech, are we going to have to play the size game with your ground army too? 3.5 divisions?
My entire goddamned ground army is a large-ish division. XD
This'd be all well and good if you were fielding something along the lines of, say, a screaming horde armed with AK-47 equivalents and a few crummy T-72s, but, as I'm sure you're well aware, you're fielding the most modern form of Abrams battle tank on Earth...

I've acquiesced to enough of your complaints. There will be no more changes.
Just because -you- do not know how to look up a nation like Israel with half the GDP Emmeria has (and an army of three regular divisions and four reserve as well as an air force which has some 80 F-15s, 250 F-16s, and a large number of other craft, I might add), determine the rough scale of its' military, and then determine how much of the Navy can remain active with the remaining other half of the budget which I have that Israel does not, does not mean I have to roll over for every pissant complaint you make because you think part of my OOB is too big in comparison to yours.
In short, Ryan - either catch up or shut up.
