Lucky Guy, I'm always dating these tiny girls who are 5'2"-5'4" and weigh next to nothing. If its any consolation he doesn't know what he's missing out on. And if your taste in music is any indicator, then he REALLY doesn't know.
I've always gone for girls in that height range, but they have to have a little meat on their bones. I just can't stand girls with legs that look like twigs.
That's not fucking attractive. It's
impossible to be attractive when you bear an objective resemblance to Jews in a Nazi concentration camp!

After replacing Ireland with Tampa, of course.
Damn it all when I'm not on the board for a few days...

Yes. I love that sleek, toned smooth look that swimmers and running girls have. Yummy.

Bingo. And gymnasts. The problem with gymnasts and swimmers is that their breasts tend to be a little on the small side, but that's something I can easily live with given the other benefits to be had.

Hey you! I'd just like to state that I'm a swimmer and have nice full C-cup breasts. That is all.
But yeah, it's usually the sprint swimmers (50 & 100m distances) that have the smaller breasts, they're the ones who tend to be more muscular and yes, some of them are kinda flat. The middle & long distance swimmers such as myself have a more curvy body form (& good sized breasts

) that helps us glide through the water easier.

I'd like to see you prove that with photographic evidence. And it must be in a bathing suit to prove you're a swimmer.

This is as close as you'll get to seeing me in a swimsuit, I'm the one on the right with the hat. See the "what do you look like?" thread for more pictures 'kay?

You're a cute one.
I've dated a swimmer and a runner before. I enjoyed. All women should have the legs and general toning that comes with that.

I've always wanted to sleep with a gymnast, with their flexibility you could do all kinds of cool positions that wouldn't be possible with other girls.

Le sigh, I was hoping when I saw all the posts that had been made since my last one, that y'all were going to have come up with some brilliant plan that didn't involve me having to put myself on the line to talk with Brian and that you were posting to congratulate each other on being so brilliant....
Damnitalltohell. This means that I still have to get some nads and talk to the boy.

Sorry Zaia, but one of you is going to have to grow some balls eventually, or you won't be able to have any kids.
A pity Valentine's day has already gone by, or you would have had the perfect excuse for all of this. Now that I've said this, allow me to clarify somewhat:

Don't you
dare think of using that as an excuse to wait for another year before doing anything about it.
I do hope I make myself clear in that regard. Just because some people (like me) have screwed things up before doesn't give you a right to now. If need be, get one of your IRL friends to finally goad you into it. If you wait too long, he might eventually lose interest because he doesn't see that you have any in him, and try elsewhere.

You could try witchcraft, but I don't guarentee it will be effective... unless you buy my patent pending
Witchcraft Utility Kit™ (picture also pending, that sounds like a project to me)! It's a simple effective way to get the full value for your spells and hexes, and is guarenteed to change your life!
Or not... sorry to say it, Zaia, but this is one of those things that there is no easy way to do. I'm not Cyrano, so all I can say is Good Luck and if you don't succeed, from the looks of it, there are like 15 bazillion guys on this board that will gladly give you solace.

Actually it's not that surprising, at least I don't think it is. I haven't taken any fluid dynamics courses so I don't have the math & equations to back it up, but a nice curvy body will move through water with less resistance than a non-curvy one. For a sprint swimmer it's not important since they rely on power and the distances are too short anyways, but for distance swimmers the right curves will let them to burn less energy and get better times. Of course, lacking a fluid dynamics background I could be completely wrong...

Yes, but the right curves would be streamlined - I take it you like jmac WITH a waist?

Yep Zaia, Hotfoot is rigt...no easy way out (at least for one of you

).
Quick summary how i see this:
-He is feeling about the same as you.
-He is afraid of actions as much as you are.
-He is a man, so he wont make a move in the near future i fear. (We are so silly, really).
-Because of his genetic defect of not doing anything in such a situation (see above), the burden lies on your shoulders.
-Rejection may hurt (it does hurt!), but it does not mean you cant be friends anymore (Such a friendship can hurt too, as stated in my other post). So its not an excuse to NOT act.
-My advise, go for the direct line of action (Kiss him square on the Lips), otherwise he may not get what you really want from him. Subtelity (sp?) is your enemy, as spelling is mine.
-DO NOT THINK, just kiss him. Thinking (in this situation) is your enemy

.
Good luck to you

heh, if you like him romantically, show it somehow. no need to be blatant. he'll figure it out, and reply in kind.

I think it is far worse to wonder what if, than stuff it up. I still kick myself for not asking this one chick out in high school, 'cause we were so well paired, we had a similar relationship to the one you describe. She even liked Starcraft - my fav game of all time.
I'd advise complimenting him on stuff that no-one would ever dream of. The grrl i am sort of seeing at the moment said she liked my car. I have a particualry fast and loud RX-7 - no chicks like it. I knew she was interested from that.
I took her home from Bible study one night, took a deep breath and went out on a limb and told her exactly how i felt and asked her if she felt the same. It was uncomfortable for a few minutes, then all the tension was gone. If she didn't feel the same? oh well, at least i told her and there would be no harm.
If there is a river side cafe` where you are, take him there for dinner, afterwards, stand by the river, and wait till he gives you a massage. say very quietly, "you like it," so he has to come closer to hear, then rest your head on his shoulder and say, "i really like it when you do that." Hugs should result.
