My dad is off to the right in the red shirt, with my friends around him. Our robot is the red one on the right. Seattle regional.

Another of our stacking POS, slightly older at a small local scrimmage.

Or not enough people voting (namely almost all of them) to be able to balance out the 1 vote that we got... (115 tied for the website award...)

Is it based off voting? Either way I don't really care about the minor awards. Heck To this day only three people out of about 30 have seen our completed animation. Whats really strange is that only one of them was on the team that made the thing.

Yup, voting by the teams. Only one team turned in a ballot apparently, so...

Nearly everyone on 114 has seen the animation, because, well, we won in 2002...

Hey, I remember you guys! Sorry about the cluster-fuck in that last match on Friday in Seattle, we kinda had a gearbox grenade itself and we couldn't reposition ourselves on the ramp so you guys got the ramp bonus. We are 1130, if that helps anything.

You guys had a fine robot.

Worst problems we had at a competition was a jamming in our useless stacking device and a cracked engine mounting, both the result of us being tipped over and then rammed, an act that got the offending team disabled. At Philly one of our transmission shifted gears, but we still had control with only 20 seconds left.

There was some team at the nationals, which had a display of a transmission system their engineers had designed for their robot that had a paten pending, however it promptly broke on the first demonstration. :)
