No, not quite, alas. I took my students there on a field trip. They listened to the BSO rehearse for 2 hours, then my kids took the stage, and I conducted (in the Myerhoff Symphony Hall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) some pieces. Some members of the BSO gave us comments, encouraged the kids, etc., then we did the same thing with jazz band. Adjudicators/clinicians, etc..... We spent the whole day there, and it was just an unbelievable experience for my kids. Very, very cool.

OMG, that is so awesome! I hope the kids enjoyed it too. It's always wonderful to play in a great hall like that. I've played in some really sucky places, which is even worse for bass clairnet. When you play with everyone and can't hear half the band/orchestra, it makes for a really weird sound.

When i was in a school play my skirt caught in my boxers and the local visiting all-girls school saw my Fred Flintstone kecks. It wasn't till i was finished my scene that any bastard had the decensy to tell me. I hated my school days.

today is a damn good day. i woke up at 11:30 and noticed that i didn´t have a hang over even though i was drinking loads of vodka and beer yesterday. then i went downtown where i met my parents. they bought me a 35 EURO hair clipper which i needed really badly. the weather is great as well. now i´m looking forward to going out and getting drunk as hell.

This one's stupid: I'm trying to sing along to my MP3s (don't worry, I only do this when no one's around. My boyfriend Dave thinks my singing's beautiful, but he's biased as hell! LOL) right after waking up, but my vocal cords are gummed up, causing my voice to crack and bounce all over the place! And the degunking is taking too long...

And no, it's not because Dave cummed down my throat! Although I wouldn't mind that much...

Took melatonin, got three hours of HORRBILE fucking sleep... I'm fucking tired as all hell, and I want to SLEEP damnit!! I can't take another melatonin tablet til 630 am tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update on my voice: Ended up choking on the last few drops of something called 'SoBe Adrenaline Rush' I was drinking. Think of it as a hyper-acidic orange juice with super-powerful energy boosters...

EDIT: The acid cleaned my vocal cords! I can sing again!!!

What's worse is that my biological clock tells me sleep comes at 630 in the morning or evening, depending on how long I've been up. It's 1046 AM. I've been up for an hour. I feel like shit. I've got a headache coming on that may or may not quickly turn into a cluster headache (which sucks even more).. Egh, I'm fucked and I need to get laid.. BAH.

Well, aside from still having not a girlfriend and having the realization this week that my boss is not going to get the funding needed to pay for my job, its been a great week. The first has been ongoing for years and the second shouldn't be too hard to fix (assuming a couple of other people are telling me the truth).

I walked around a doorway while barefoot and my little useless damned pinkie toe decides hes going to go the OTHER way...... The pain still lingers.

It's snowing! I mean, if it's snowing in the winter, I'm happy about, it should snow in the winter. But definately NOT in the end of fricking April! It was 20 degrees outside just four days ago, and now it's snowing. Great.

My body clock seems to run in a similar fashion. Though right now I cant relate to the rest of it.

I set my VCR incorrectly, and I missed a whole buch of Rurouni Kenshin episodes over vacation.

My cellphone charger went tits-up, so the battery on the phone ran out and made that go tits-up...

Fucking cheapass cell phone chargers.

Worse: The power brick on the charger is designed so that it's skinny enough not to block other outlets on a power strip... but, get this: THE FUCKING PLUG IS ARRANGED EXACTLY THE WRONG WAY SO IT COMPLETELY NULLIFIES THIS DESIGN FEATURE, SO INSTEAD OF BLOCKING NO OUTLETS, IT BLOCKS THREE!!!!!!

I had a long day. Then I was woken up at 4am, hours after i went to sleep. When i didn't want to go with my friends, they started cussing at me. @_@
