My theory on it is that all matter that exists in Hyperspace naturally is considered Hypermatter and since Anti-matter reactors need Matter mixed with anti-matter to generate power my guess is you mix Matter with Hypermatter and it creates some kind of power.

Thanks.

So, it seems that noone really knows whether 'anti-hypermatter' or 'hyper-antimatter' exists. I questioned this because (most likely) the E=mc^2 would not apply for a hypermatter- 'anti-hypermatter' reaction.

Correct. All the numbers in that equation normally refer to real numbers.

But hypermatter's mass is expressed by a complex number (of the form a + bi, where a and b are real numbers, and i is the square root of -1).

It is good to know. (It was eons ago when I last faced with complex numbers. :angelic: )
However, I worried about the c^2, not about the mass. I didn't think it could be 'only' c for a tachyon (hypermatter).

Aren“t you confusing the hypermatter used as fuel (which is hyperdense) with the hyper-particle used to move the ship ftl?

Nope. The ultra-dense fuel in the silos is never referred to as hypermatter. Hypermatter is both the particles used by the hyperdrive, and annhiliated for energy.

I imagine the ultra-dense fuel is propellant for the engines (they have to eject something out).

And I only imagined that the antimatter used by the EX-F was not 'normal' antimatter, but the 'anti'- pair of that hypermatter.
It is easier to imagine a special antimatter (since there is already a special matter) than kilotons of both normal and (conventional) antimatter stored onboard an SW ship.

Uh, Hypermetter is an annihilatory reactant. Besides, if it were Hypermatter inside the EX-F, they would have specified "hypermatter"
