Yes, but I suspect going after females via forums would be rather fruitless. I should have specified "Where does one find available female geeks?"Zaia wrote:*raises hand* Do I count?

Better than coming off as the Shermanator.</American Pie reference>[/quote]Metrion Cascade wrote:I believe I have a problem with the latter, I tend to come off as the terminator.

shit... and here i was trying to buy their sex with expensive presents. i always wondered why they ended up leaving.InnerBrat wrote:
No presents (flowers, chocolate etc). It's only a first date.

Don't chew gum. that's gross, too.
Then how do you pick up girls? Don't tell me its like us, where you give her a spiked drink, drag her into bed and then wake up to say "You were all over me" crap? His Divine Shadow wrote:Lots of things here are irrelevant to me as we don't have a dating culture here, it's practically unheard of, but I wonder why chewing gum is gross?
We just do it, like at parties and such, there's no specific method to it.PainRack wrote:Then how do you pick up girls? Don't tell me its like us, where you give her a spiked drink, drag her into bed and then wake up to say "You were all over me" crap?![]()

I never said I do that, I said thats one of the ways it might be done.PainRack wrote:HDS, why would you say you were emotionally cold then? I would have thought that in order to pick up girls like that and presumably have a sustainable relationship( as opposed to ONS), you would be rather effusive in your emotions?
That's pretty much how I ended up with my GF. We'd been good friends for several years and then one day it just kinda happened. Of course there's my other chick friend who's also a complete cutie but it was mutually agreed that we shouldn't date each other. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but in any case I don't see anything wrong with dating your friends. As for looks, well, look at my GF and then look at me. She's an amazingly cute & sexy babe and I'm a dorky looking asian guy.Bertie Wooster wrote:Seriously though, its not like there is a rule that a girl can't make out with her guy friends, or vice versa. If a guy and a girl are friends and have a platonic friendship, the only reason it shouldn't be more romantic and closer to the heart is if they don't find each other physically attractive (y'know, fuck each other). Then a romantic relationship won't work.
flirting is easy, don't be obnoxious, don't be loud... don't make an idiot of yourself and you'll be fine.Gandalf wrote:From the only first date I have been on, I've learned that Gangs of New York is not a good first date movie, too serious.
Anyone got flirting tips though?
I think the Shermanator is mentioned in the first one.His Divine Shadow wrote:Sorry, I've only seen American Pie 1, and that was some time ago, this has no meaning to me.Metrion Cascade wrote: Better than coming off as the Shermanator.</American Pie reference>
That sounds like such a good idea. Not too many around here though, i would imagine. OH well, only one way to find out...stay at home and hope that somehow one comes to my house.Metrion Cascade wrote: - If you're a geek, look for geeks. There's no substitute. :blushes: hehe ohh metIf you're Rye, just wear your hair down and smile. And catch her when she stumbles from cumming in her pants.

No. That only works in anime.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Can't you be both?neoolong wrote:Gah, I hate being called cute. Especially when I'm trying to be all mysterious and rugged.
You just had to go there didn't you.Zaia wrote:neoolong wrote:Gah, I hate being called cute. Especially when I'm trying to be all mysterious and rugged.Awww, that's so cute!

Bah, I think they're all getting slow and complacent on this board, that was clearly the opportunity to point out that that was because you were in the clubs.InnerBrat wrote: If there all a bunch of ugly smelly men, move on. Y'know what, that's exactly what I was thinking. Well done for noticing that I made a funny, I feel noticed, now.The_Lumberjack wrote:Bah, I think they're all getting slow and complacent on this board, that was clearly the opportunity to point out that that was because you were in the clubs.
*sigh*
Men...
Completely incorrect, or at least partially. Nonetheless you can be both mysterious (read slightly insane) and cute at the same time. the key is understanding where a little bit of oddballness is both mysterious and funny at the same time. Those instances tend to be both 'cute" and "mysterious." I apparently have been able to pull this off recently as I am both an "interesting" 9read mysterious) person to my g/f but also inexplicably cute. Oh well.neoolong wrote:No. That only works in anime.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Can't you be both?neoolong wrote:Gah, I hate being called cute. Especially when I'm trying to be all mysterious and rugged.
