I didn't get the girl. I think the only feasible option for me is to run away and join the Rangers.

... worked for Lennier.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Lennier join the Rangers because Delenn married Sheridan?

Yess... but I assumed you meant "It worked for them because they got the girl" which they didn't. Marcus was a ranger but he still couldn't ask Susan out. Lennier joined the rangers because he wanted to "impress" Delenn, and he ended up betraying Sheridan and her due to jealousy.

But you obviously meant "join the rangers" like "join the foreign legion" as in "new start to life."

Exactly. I'm joining for all the right reasons. Where do I sign up?

Here. You have a preference of being a) sent on an assignment which is almost certain death or b) being used to test the antidote to the drakh plague.

Welcome to the Anla'shok, son. You live for the one, you die for thr one,

I choose (A) so at least I have the chance of going out in style ...

Good. Now it's your turn to test the Drakh plague antidote. Some side effects may ensue (like giddiness, and loss of equilbrium... cookiee for the reference).

I guess I shall have to change "Live for the One, die for the One" to "Working on Fox for the One."
