Tosho, I don't know if my story made you feel any better, but it was 100% true, so I know exactly how you feel. When that guy told me that he was really sorry but he'd never feel that way about me in his entire life, I'm sure he believed it. I did too. But no one ever knows how things will end up in the future, and you and your lady might end up having a great story to tell your grandchildren one day. Then again, it's also possible that your feelings for her will change and you will become a better person for what you have gone through. Time will tell (ack, I hate being cliche!).

If you've decided someone's the one for you the moment you say hi, you're taking the wrong approach. Just talk to women, flirt with them, get to know other girls you haven't really been considering, ask them out if it feels right, not as some kind of serious relationship thing, but just as a harmless little date to get to know each other better.
