My buddies Cass and Diana should go down there and walk around a bit. They'll freak these guys out to know end.
What we need is fifty-sixty people to put on devil costumes and march into town and assemble in front of this persons house. They then commence bombardment with Harry Potter books and physics textbooks.

Science textbooks. With evolution in them.

But you're not a respectable Sith Lord, you're a Canadian engineer with a receding hairline, a mean streak, and an overactive libido. :P
I was not aware that a receding hairline, a mean streak, or an overactive libido disqualified me from being a Sith Lord. Besides, you're from Florida. I hear they don't even learn how to count down there
I'm from Central Florida.

South Florida is the trouble spot. And, it's no surprise that it's mostly senior New Englanders and New Yorkers who moved down here for the weather. :P

Besides, I listed "Canadian engineer" since it's your true occupation, not an evil Sith Lord. :P

I'm sorry, I just don't find you that frightening.

*cough*

But I have also heard that certain towns in Central Florida are also stupid. Could you declare exactly which city you might live in?

The sound of a silenced gunshot is heard in the distance as KGB agents leave Steve's house...
Leave? *looks outside* No, they're running in terror. They'll never be the same again, and their scalps will constantly be scarred from those wicked noogies I gave 'em.

Central Florida, South Florida, what's the difference? Besides, I wouldn't necessarily brag about that; Inglis is in Central Florida too :)

Bah.

Central Florida has most of the rednecks there (except Greater Orlando). South Florida (especially around the Miami-Dade area) can't count. Greater Tampa Bay is full of old people. Gainesville has the University of Florida and that's about it.

It's a small country bumpkin town far away from the major areas of Florida, and it's not Central Florida. It's considered North Florida.

And there is a difference between Central Florida and South Florida. South Florida is dominated by Miami and Fort Lauderdale, which are really just a summer spot for New Yorkers and other snowbirds. Go to a Heat-Knicks game in Miami and half the crowd cheers for the Knicks. Same thing for a Dolphins-Jets/Giants game.

Orlando is a general tourist destination, in a region of orange groves.

And redneckism is mostly a fad. The majority of people in the major suburban areas I'm familiar with (Deltona, Sanford) are normal every day folks, and with a fair number of Hispanics and blacks.

And I can brag about Central Florida, with Orlando ringed by towns and cities like Ocoee, Apopka, Altamonte Springs, Longwood, Lake Mary, and of course.... Sanford. :)

What's really funny is, well, I haven't said one thing about Canada and all Mike can do to get at me is insult Florida over some stupid country bumpkin town that come a dime a dozen across North America. :?

That's because you've never said anything interesting on this board. One needs some kind of substance to attack, Steve.

You missed the fact that Miami is also known as North Cuba. There've long been jokes about building a wall south of I-4 to divide the English-speaking Florida from the Spanish-speaking Florida, though now the line would probably have to be further north.
Orlando is a general tourist destination, in a region of orange groves.
Hey, hey, we got UCF also. 39,000 students and growing (which is why I GTFOed and went elsewhere for my higher education). And cattle farms. Florida's #2 in the nation in head of cattle (or was last time I heard). Wait...that cattle farm thing didn't help our point.
And redneckism is mostly a fad. The majority of people in the major suburban areas I'm familiar with (Deltona, Sanford) are normal every day folks, and with a fair number of Hispanics and blacks.
True. We also have Eatonville, and Oviedo's not too bad, although Bithlo...

Forgot Winter Park and Edgewater :D. Then again, I try to forget most of them too .

I have a lot of friends who go to UCF (my girlfriend included). It's a rather large place. I currently go to USF.

Who's Vendetta?
He posts here, too. You can always ask him, you know. :D

If you do not want to do that, then I'll tell you that Vend is a SpaceBattles First One.

Have a very nice day.

Really? I've never said anything interesting, ever, on this board? Or should I be fair and assume you meant "thread", upon which... um.... okay, never mind that.

All I'm saying is that you should've stuck to the election jokes, they work a helluva lot better than Inglis. :P

And no, Vendy is not a First One, and IIRC he's denied posting here. So either someone else likes the username Vendetta, or he's lying through his teeth. I think the latter is a very good likelihood.

My favorite part is that this thread, in the OT forum, about a thread that's about a thread, has gone off topic :D
