Well I have all the bonus discs. But, since I am great, I also have the original golden cartrigdes of both AoL and LoZ for the NES. I am also so damn cool that I understood the joke I found in the manual for OoT: "Number of times you've been killed (will not be zeroed by pressing reset)".
Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Well, Link in LoZ and AoL was technically from outside of Hyrule as well (and for the record, that doesn't come from the Valient comics; it's part of the backstory to LoZ, those American comics just gave Link's homeland a name).
And I STILL can't understand what the FUCK Zerg Goddess is actually saying. Unless she gets her retard ass back in here and constructs a few sentenses that are actually coherent for a change, I'm just going to dismiss her garbled bitching as nonsense...
I thought she meant that the game was going to be a remake of AoL and therefore wouldn't buy it. If Link does not come from Hyrule, it would be similar to AoL (with the Triforce mark and all) and the original LoZ. But I do agree that what Zerg Goddess is trying to say is rather cryptic...

Spanky The Dolphin wrote:I actually wouldn't mind a little more vocalisation, you know like what's been present in the last three games.
As long as it's just the odd few meeps and squeals from Link like usual.
Could you imagine what they'd do with a whole game script? They'd cast a total prat, you can count on it.

Yeah, I can imagine a similar situation to the English casting of Raiden in Metal Gear Solid 2, which was totally not representative of his original Japanese voice, and also which I recall Kojima was not very happy with.

which blasphemy is that Yoshi?
-ponders all forms of Blasphemy he could use-
I was referring to people reselling their bonus discs. But since we're on the subject of blasphemy, *smites all followers of the "one Link" heresy*.

Check out the new official art:
Click
Here
Check the one with the shadow thingy in the first one. The shadow thingy has the mark of the Shiekah on it. And there's that wolf again (or a wolf anyway).
And look at Zelda in the second link. She has a sword!

Just show me art that involves Tingle dying, and I will be happy.

Tingle cannot be killed. He is the plague that defies the gods.
Sweet! Material for a new Zelda av!

I am loving this game more and more with each passing day as new stuff is released
-sighs-
If I wasn't so lazy, I'd make a Fan site...

Bah, there are too many of those already. All they do is either copy the content of superior sites or have nothing but junk.

I remember the heyday of Zelda Headquarters, when they had those lovely timeline speculation sections and all that in-depth info on everything in Zelda 64 when the first playable demos were at trade shows. Now that was a fan site.

maybe, but I used to run the Ianstorm.com Ultima X site back when it was still being made....
I'm almost positive I could get some info outta Nintendo, Ianstorm (used to at least) have decent inroads made with Nintendo for news and info.
to bad the site is in decline now...

Zelda Legends (which is currently putting itself back together after a rather nasty crash) and the new Zelda Headquarters are probably the best Zelda sites online, in my opinion.

I'll have to check them out then...
can I obtain some URL's from ya so I don't have to blunder through google search?

It is an insight into the mind of the average IGN respondent though. Over half of the top ten list was released in the last few months. Ahhh, goldfish, don't you love 'em?

IGN readers might as well be goldfish in my opinion.
A staff list would be more interesting.

Okay, so who's willing to lay money on the wierd 'guy' in the black cloak being Zelda-in-disguise, ala Shiek? I figure because they show Zelda with a sword, and won't comment on the cloaked individual's identity (but he's important, they say), that it's Zelda. I guess it's just a hunch.
