Where's the evidence for this? I'm just curious. Again, the only old folks we see doing amazing physical feats are force sensitives or augmented bionic people (or aliens with super long lifespans).

IIRC we don't actually *see* Boba kick any Vong arse personally, we just see Boba before the fight, some Mandalorian Commandos during it and Slave 1 is later seen leaving the area.

So these wankified authors can't think of an honest way to show this crap, so they just use a convention straight out of Looney-Tunes... a big ball of smoke appears with stars flying out of it and random limbs swinging around.. complete with punching and "ow!" sound effects. Then the "smoke clears" and "our hero" emerges victorious!

Whats so difficult to believe about that? This technology is quite different from GG or DV, they had full body replacements. In this case (and with Luke, and Anakin) the suspect limb was replaced artifically, and the robotic arm (or knee) will most likely hold up better than an organic one.
