When I was on earlier today, I saw that they were going to do maintaince on the site for 1 or 2 hours thursday morning. And since I do not know what timezone they are in, this could be it.

NukeZone is up again, so I got another nuclear missile, and built up my forces to the point all the airfields, shipyards, war factories, and barracks are full.

They're too expensive at your level, and you need over 400 to make any difference, anyway. Go for research labs and other utility buildings instead.

Thanks. I know GMT and the GMT-X zones by name fairly well, but I don't know GMT+X zones. And I was third in the clan back on, so *neh*

BTW, we have one strike force formed and the members of two others chosen (but not sorted into group or role yet). That accounts for half the SD.Net military. The other half is not yet assigned, though I'm not sure some have been on since I posted.

Who is Draconis? And for that matter, who is Purgatory?

Are they members of the forum or just regular nukezoners who wanted membership?

Purgatory is Glare on this board. Don't remember who Draconis is...I actually don't keep good track, but I know if I let him in, he's not just a regular NukeZoner.

Should I build a LOT of hummers?

There seems to be quite a bit of people who focus exclusively on infantry- these people have infantry in the ranges of thousands, and they are only 50k-something higher than me in networth.

Defending against that will be a bitch, since I've focused on destroying vehicles, air units, and sea units, ignoring infantry- though I have 110 attack boats and 100 hummers, and 20 or so apaches, which can all attack infantry. I have failed to defend against 98% of attacks.

I don't think they will stand against an onslaught of thousands though.

You'd be better off getting hordes of flamethrowers instead of HMMVVs, since the only things that can attack them are other infantry and HMMVVs. Otherwise you'll lose loads of humvees every time the enemy sends tanks against you...

What about lots of attack boats? Sure there's only 15 attack each against infantry, but only weak ground units like hover tanks and rifle infantry can attack them. Also I'm a big fan of air and sea attack.

Attack boats have their attack points split up among the unit types.
