Well-done, Simon Jester, you had me rooting for Frungus to pull through.

I'll jump on the Frugus bandwagon here; crustacean dude was awesome.

Thank you all. There'll be more tonight.

I've revised the Humanist Union Navy to due to finding a warship style I liked, and due to a desire to make it seem less like they were using old ship designs with fresh coats of paint. There are no differences outside of fluff, though.

Real-life update: 5.8 tremor struck Puerto Rico a few minutes ago. Big "WTF" moment for me. :o At least it wasn't life-threatening.

Obligatory snarkery: Are you sure that was a natural tremor? Because I have it on good authority that an orbital bombardment can make some interesting earthquakes, and Prussians have been reported in the area.

Haven't heard of it. Could the Nazis Prussians have jammed our transmissions? :P

On which note... you think that's bad, FL, wait and see what poor Weavel is going to be looking at later tonight.

(Update on the way)

EDIT: Of course, Weavel's command center was built to a more rigorous construction code than your house, to be fair.

Incidentally, last night in the chat, I was talking how Shostakovich's 7th is great and much superior to Simon's puny musics (sorry, Simon), and the grots were insisting it's claimed by the Haruhiists because the animu used it in some episode or something.

Then, I wake up and see that Aly had already used it! Curses!

Have a very nice day.

Can't say I'm familiar with that piece; have you got a link on hand?

...it's in the game thread. All of it, apparently. Aly's post is more youtube videos than text.

That's what prompted this discussion.

Have a very nice day.

Oh, it's fine. But I have to have something to score future battles to.

The relatively best part of Nielsen's Fourth Symphony is going to be seen later.

...Oh. Well, that's what I get for posting with more wine that blood in circulation.

I can only narrate it so much before you need to just...hear it.

Damn you, you reptile-loving, god-hating deviant spawn of Satan! Damn you to a thousand nonexistent hells, you thief! :D

Now I have to look for something else to score my fleet battles with. :(

Have a very nice day.

What is better, using it to score fleet battles, or to intellectually stab fascists in a way which is way over their collective head?

Fleet battles in which the fascists' fleets are scattered and their worlds burn in cleansing nuclear fire, of course.

You may choose to stab them intellectually. I prefer to kill them for real. :D

EDIT: To quote the great Ilya Ehrenburg
The Germans are not human beings. Henceforth the word German means to us the most terrible curse. From now on the word German will trigger your rifle. We shall not speak any more. We shall not get excited. We shall kill. If you have not killed at least one German a day, you have wasted that day... If you cannot kill your German with a bullet, kill him with your bayonet. If there is calm on your part of the front, if you are waiting for the fighting, kill a German before combat. If you leave a German alive, the German will hang a Russian and rape a Russian woman. If you kill one German, kill another - there is nothing better for us than a heap of German corpses. Do not count the days; do not count the miles. Count only the number of Germans you have killed. Kill the German - this is your old mother's prayer. Kill the German - this is what your children beseech you to do. Kill the German - this is the cry of your Russian earth. Do not waver. Do not let up. Kill.
Replace the "German" with "Fascist," and you're good to go :D

Have a very nice day.

Well yes, and it may come to that for me. However, I need to set the stage...

Yes, but you have already wasted the good music! If you kill the fascists, it will be to lesser music! :)

VON MÜCKENBERGER: I can't take this anymore! Attention, fleets! Full speed ahead! I'm going to find the enemy leader and pummel him to bits!
VON MUSEL: What are you doing?! Pull back!
KIRCHEIS: He's right! Leave this to us!
VON MÜCKENBERGER: Out of my way! The leaders are going to duke this out one-on-one!
VON MUSEL: Fall back! We don't even know where he is!
VON MÜCKENBERGER: Then leave it to me! I'll find him!
VON MUSEL: I'm telling you, fall back!
KIRCHEIS: Let's calm down. The enemy's shooting at us.
MITTERMEYER/REUENTAL: Hey, guys?! Where'd everyone go?!
VON MUSEL: I can't! I'm stuck here! We're going to lose this thing!
