The undead are destroyed, but another 30 pour out of the ceiling just as they die.

"Wait........if the undead can't leave the tower then......."
Jax pulled the queen replicator out of the bag of holding.
"Looks like I have another use for you."
Move along the tower wall, Holding the replicator and ready to run if any undead try to attack us from inside the tower, walk along the outer wall, with the queen using it's stone shape ability to take out chunks of stone.
++I'm trying to weaken one side of the tower, if it's as poorly maintained as you say, it should just fall over++

Malkamar is still within the tower, surrounded by undead. "My my. It looks like the Lichlord's work. You boys know how to throw a party." He closed his eyes, activating the Crown Of Fire, bathing his body in peternatural flames. "..Don't worry. I'm gonna be a tough fight." He spoke. "Now.. BURN!" A plethora of Maelstroms burst forth into the largest sections of the horde, each seeking to drive them back from Edward. The tower was magic. Focusing his mind as he desperate bled power off into more blasts and the Crown Of Fire, Malkamar felt the unrivaled power of pure Spellfire now, as the tower itself gave up it's power for him.
(Attack Action: Multiple Maelstroms into the largest sections of Undead, 20 levels per. Free action: Crown of Fire. Move action: Drain the tower, as much as I can at a time and keep bleeding power off in attacks.)

Fearghal stepped towards the door, leaning on his staff, calling within
"Malkamar, make for the door....."
With a look of concentration he directed a spell through the door towards Malkamar, striking it towards the undead nearest him trying to clear a circle around him.

A half dozen undead are vaporized by your spell.

If I'm still in the Tower(likely given probable location, I move towards Malkamar and utter a Holy Word(40 ft.rad on me, 11 HD deafened(whoopie)7-10HD Blind and deafened, 2-6 HD paralysed for 1-10 minutes 1 HD undead go kerblooie, no save(nongood extraplanars banished, Will save at -4).
Any actions used before hitting swarm are going to be spent activating Dispel Evil, Aid, Protection From Evil in that order. Boots of Haste get activated as Free action.
Edit:And if not in the tower I spend six seconds to activate those spells before running back in towards Malk

Uttering arcane words once again Fearghal directed another blast in around Malkamar, circling the blast about him, trying still to keep the undead back from him....leaning heavily on his staff....focusing on directing his power, gasping to Torma "Stop...that....fool cleric......"

Jax tosses the replicator back into the bag.
"It wasn't working anyway."
I cast sunburst at the undead in the doorway.

Torma gave no answer, her eyes blazing hot, angry green. She'd *liked* Erhart, and These EVIL Things had killed him! She was not holding back, but using every weapon her heritage gave her to destroy these abominations forever.

Malkamar was having an odd moment of perfect clarity as the titanic forces flowing through and around him were carefully balanced. The undead were a secondary concern; they attracted Spellfire, exploding near instantly. The more pressing concern was how much power this place had; it was like he was wired into the Weave, grounding it. It was.. Glorious.
"This is what Karsus felt. This is what they all felt. The glorious power.." Malkamar spoke, unaware that his voice boomed with near-Godhood. The balance of forces was all there was. No hunger, no pain from his wounds, no fatigue in his muscles, only the glorious burning of vast power.
What to do with the power? The undead were gone. The image snapped into his mind, clear as day: A Mythallar, a sphere of raw magic. Yes. Malkamar began to release as much power as he could into the sphere, building it as fast as he could safely do so.
(Craft Spellfire: Mythallar, shedding all the power I can safely each round into it's construction.)

The fires of raw magic flared blindingly bright around Malkamar, Fearghal, half averted his gaze to keep from being blinded by it....he directed another blast into the masses of undead creatures swarming about....

All your titantic energies converge into a single burning point in space that grows larger and larger every second. The undead cower, and the tower trembles as vast amounts of energy are drained from it.

Not even Torma's rage could ignore the huge buildup of magical energy surrounding Malkamar. Every spine on her back stood up from the sheer power of it, her magical nature thrumming like a harpstring.

Gaheris pulled himself up onto Percival's back after the griffon grabbed him, and turned back towards the tower. Then a white glow burst forth. "By Tyr," he breathed, bending low over Percival's neck and urging him to fly faster. Something big was happening...

Astinius straightened up. "Mystra, no," he whispered. There wasn't much he could do now without killing his friend, and he doubted he could even do that, given the amount of power he was channelling.

Huge pulses of magic blast out from the tower as the mythallar is formed, sending mages across Faerun into orgasmic delirium from the sheer power. The whole city of westgate shook and trembled, and the air heated to extreme temperatures. Inside the tower, the glowing orb of light expanded tremendously, evaporating undead and walls as it grew larger. An infinite array of colors danced across it's surface, and then blasted outward, and formed into a milky smooth orb, thrumming gently with power. Malkmar collapsed onto the floor, the last edifices of power drained from him. The undead screamed out in a million unholy voices, and fled the material plane. Erhart's body fell out of the ceiling onto Malkmar, and then the world went silent.

Fearghal could manage only one word as the wave of magical power swept over him and he slumped to the ground.
"Goddess..."

Gaheris instinctively let go of the reins to shield his eyes from the light, and Percival flared his wings, slowing them abruptly as he turned his eagle's head away from the burst of blinding light. It was suddenly very hot...

You're fine, as I seriously doubt that you were any closer to it than Malkamar was.

But remember, it formed around him, then expanded outwards, it never actually had the potential to pass through him.(not that I'm complaining if I survived).
