Ace, don't post your full e-mail address, spiders collect them and then spam you to motherfucking death when they find it.

I'll have to break them up. It's late, so I'll do it tommorow.

Vympel wrote:Guys, the pics I don't have are 7MB, zipped. Methinks I'll have to take requests.

So, without further ado:

- A pic of Anakin posing
- 2x pics of Clonetroopers (highly recommended!)
- 3x pics of Yoda in combat stance (recommended)
- Pics of Kashyyk, Mustafar, Alderaan and Utapau (just the planets as seen from space, nothing special)
- Obi-Wan posing
- 3x Duel pics (art style)
- 7x Vader pics- recommended
Well, as yt300000 (at) gmail.com has said, and is repeating now just in case the requests comment cancelled out the previous content of responses, he would really hate to get any single one of those pics in his inbox. Of course, if he got all of them, by some bizzare chance, he would have to do something drastic, like delete them immediately without saving them.

Damn it, as I was sending the first zip file I found this-

I'd like to thank Vympel for not sending me those files. I'm glad I didn't see them, as I'm sure I'd especially hate those Clonetrooper pics. I'd just detest the progression from Clonetroopers to Stormtroopers. It wouldn't be cool at all.

It may just be me, but with the way he's smiling, the white makeup, and the facial ridges, does aynone else think that Palpatine looks a little bit like Gul Dukat?

Turbolaser count, with each turret having 4 barrels:

Dorsal -
8 cannons - main spine batteries, 4 port- and 4 starboard-facing turrets.
1 cannon - forward facing in the spinal trench near the bow
1 cannon - aft facing at the top rear of the bridge tower

Ventral -

1 cannon - forward facing in the spinal trench at the bow
4 cannons - 2 port- and 2 starboard-facing
1 cannon - to the front of the main hangar bay.

That's all I can see with these tired eyes....

Liked the planets, Utapau´s got alot of moons, doesn´t it?!
And at least two of the moons are massive enough to hold atmospheres, which would complicate a great deal of stuff. Triple or quadruple planets, anyone? If the other moons are massive enough, we'd be looking at a really ghetto planetary sytem. I'm already overhwlemed by the number of possible Lagrangian points in that system and the tidal forces.

One moon is in Utapau's shadow so it may be possible to determine limits on the size and semimajor axis of the moon. If that moon(assuming it were massless) were orbiting (between 1.5 to 3 radii) a planet like Earth, its period would probably be around 3-8 hours(this is assuming a two body problem, which would be different considering how many massive bodies are close). If orbital period and Semi-major axis are known for that moon, then I can find the standard gravitational parameter for Utapau, which'll be beneficial in determining the orbits of the other moons.

A second photo of those moons would be helpful for getting an idea of where the moons are in relation to the planet. Preferrably something froma few frames later to possibly make a 3D photo. This photo only gives a rough idea, though knowing where each moon's shadow is can tell me where each moon isn't.

I can conclude two things:
1. ILM doesn't enforce a drug policy
2. Utapau is a wet dream come true

Reading Dr. Saxton's post ROTS updates to the Planets page should be interesting.

If I'm wrong about anything, please correct me.

He looks more like Gary Oldman's Dracula, when he first meets Harker.

Unless ILM has revised the design recently, this: +http://www.aptirrelevance.com/sw-archiv ... p?id=00890 can't be a Venator, the command tower is totally different and the ship has far more guns, among other hull differences. In addition, if the sensor globes are standard KDY size, I would guess that this ship is about as big as an OT ISD. While earlier reports described the Venator as being noticably smaller.

The Venator is the ship seen here: +http://www.aptirrelevance.com/sw-archiv ... p?id=00841

If they did revise the design though, I'm not complaining. the new ship looks fantastic.

Well, the link I already provided has the rest of the pics I speak of, so there's no need for me to not send the promo2.zip I created with the rest of them. If that makes any sense :)

That's not a Venator....that's something else  .....the Venator has twin bridges...so, unless the Venator design has been heavily revised, this is a second Star Destroyer for our orgasmic pleasure :D

Wait...that's fan art! :x :x WTF!! I like that design a shitload better than the actual Venator!!

It's a fan design, but it's still a cool ship.

Its a good thing those pics can be found at a link I didn't visit, since I really wouldn't want promo2 to find itself in yt300000 (at) gmail.com. It would just be horrid.

Palpatine doesn't look as menacing and evil in that image as he did in ROTJ, also, he looks like he really is wearing make-up in that pic, while in ROTJ he's appearence is more natural.
