No it's not, but whatever; I've broken my habit of clicking on the banner in any case.Soontir C'boath wrote:It is fixed now.

Yes it is. The banner now goes to the main stardestroyer.net site table of contents. I've tested this on all 4 styles (not counting the BareBones low-bandwidth one which does not have a banner). If it doesn't do that for you, then you need to refresh your cache.Darth Raptor wrote:No it's not, but whatever; I've broken my habit of clicking on the banner in any case.Soontir C'boath wrote:It is fixed now.
It's working just fine for me with MF at least, and I've been on and off the site all evening, without refreshing the cache (using Firefox).Darth Wong wrote:Yes it is. Unless he changed the signature image limitations, your banner's width of 550 pixels would keep you from updating. There was a hard limit imposed of 500w and 100h when the upgrade first went through.Sea Skimmer wrote:Okay, I can’t edit my signature. I did. That was the very first thing I tried and it still doesn't work. I have no idea what the problem is though, and it's an extremely minor issue (like I said, I've retrained myself). So if I'm the only one having trouble, then don't waste your time with it.Darth Wong wrote:If it doesn't do that for you, then you need to refresh your cache.

That's my guess on why your changes won't go through. Though I think you should have gotten a message about your image being too big when you tried to submit it.
Seems fine now.Phantasee wrote:Fingolfin, I can see that thread just fine. Can you check the ones I posted? Are you seeing a blank white screen when you try to access your thread?
I think we have the same problem. I deleted my cookies from this site and restarted my browser (Firefox v. 1.5.x) but it's still doing it.
What box? Do you mean the last post boxes? Because those show up fine for me.Darth Yoshi wrote:I was checking the main page earlier, and the box on the side listing recent forum topics no longer has anything in it.
Try it again and let me know if it works.MKSheppard wrote:I'd like to bring back some of the "edit at any time" permissions for private forums and Fanfic. Editing a story you wrote is now a nightmare.
Out of curiosity, isn't this the second time an antec power supply has failed on you?Darth Wong wrote:System failure occurred yesterday at approximately 4:30pm. The failure was due to the failure of the server's Antec power supply. I didn't have time to fix it until now because I was too busy with my kids and my job. Antec has had quality control problems in recent years (their EarthWatts line excepted, as those are Seasonic units) .Darksider wrote:Out of curiosity, isn't this the second time an antec power supply has failed on you?

i'm starting to wonder if I should switch mine out.
While their power supplies may not be top of the line, their cases are. None of them are made of flimsy thin gauge sheet metal (like some of Thermaltake's cases), and they're all stylish (except maybe the Skeleton). The Yosemite Bear wrote:yeah, what do you think was responsible for all of my crashes over the last two years. Besides I still can't figure out which is worse, why did I keep buying Antecs or why is Antec still in business?
Yes, I've had an Antec power supply fail on me before. But I've had all kinds of power supplies fail on me before. Frankly, I'm happy as long as the power supply doesn't take the rest of the computer with it, which happened once with a really cheap power supply. It died but not before putting a huge voltage spike through the rest of the system which fried everything in it but the floppy drive.Darksider wrote:Out of curiosity, isn't this the second time an antec power supply has failed on you?Darth Wong wrote:System failure occurred yesterday at approximately 4:30pm.
