Prius returned from the refresher, where he'd gone to wash his bloody face. He wondered just how long it will take for his multitude of injuries to heal, and how well some will ever heal with the augmetics in the mix. He stood at the corner of the group and listened quietly as they spoke.

The Inquisitors noticed Prius standing nearby. "Prius, can you tell us about your Possesion? We think it might correlate to another incident experienced by Inquisitor Gix."

He grimaced. It was a difficult topic to speak on. "It... he... first spoke to me in the midst of the battle, slaying an infidel who was trying to attack me from behind. He... blew the heretic up. Then, I moved to aid Inquisitor Gix, and... opened myself to my abilities. When I did so, he took control. I know not his name, but he was cunning and powerful."

Pater raised his eyebrow. "It saved your life? Why?"

He grimaced again. "First, I believe it considers me a prime... potential recruit, as warp beasts are wont to do. Secondly, it was vying with this Torquen. It told me where to strike to kill him, high and to the right. Honor among heretics is lacking, as usual."

The Inquisitors shared a significant glance. "Does that seem to fit with your experiences with this PsyKing?"

He felt a bit embarrassed that the information is coming out at present time, but then nobody had bothered to debrief him since he'd awoken. He looked at Jolan, wondering what his experiences with the warlock were.

"You didn't open yourself to his control," said Gix. "If you were vulnerable you would have taken by a daemon earlier in the battle. As a psyker you were harder to take. He's quite strong. He probably took you because you were in a position to both be useful and to convey information to everyone else. I, on the other hand, failed to dislodge him. My blast came closer to killing you. It did weaken him, which might have helped Taran remove him from your head. Or maybe not."

"And so," he said slowly as his mind wrapped itself around the possibilities. "And so, there are two possibilities that spring to mind in this. First, the emnity was real, and he truly sought Torquen's death. Secondly, given Torquen's proven capacity to survive seemingly lethal damage, this feeds into a scheme of his..."

Whatever. He fully intended to hunt this bastard PsyKing down and kill him, personally if possible.

"Glad to see the rest of you are doing well.This is Sister Lillith of the Adeptus Soriatus. I believe her abilities will be useful in our future goals against the cults."

Nathan stood there in a very simple uniform, little in the ay or ornamentation adorned it .Merely his badges of office and nothing else.

Pater shook his head. "While the forces of Chaos may think in a manner that is alien to us, I do not believe Torquen would have deliberately allowed himself to be destroyed again when he had all of us on our knees. The way his minions retreated after his destruction was unorganised and haphazard; They were not prepared for it."

"His powers are impressive, but he can be killed. Whether it is by a psycannon bolt, a power sword going through his chest, or crushing his skull with my force rod remains to be seen." Gix's hand continiously clenched into fist and relaxed.

"Welcome, Inquisitor Talstrem. Would it be asking to much of you to equip your acolyte with a Helm? Her prescence is quite distracting."

"Greetings Sister Lillith. We were just speaking of an individual against whom you abilities would be quite useful." Despite his friendly words, Gix took a step away from the pariah.

"I am currently awaiting its arrival "

"I appologise about not being at the fioght earlier.I had gone tyo check out something I had learned about the local Sistery and found Sister Lilith"

Prius twitched visibly as Lilith stepped into range, as once again his perceptions were dimmed, and the innate sense of the unnatural hit him. He nodded politely to both of them and continued listening to the discussion.

He would not gainsay Gix his shot at the PsyKing, but if he gets his own opportunity first, he will take it.

"Battles are by their nature's chaotic and hive cities are by their nature's large. I am sure that you were busy serving the Imperium. There were more than a few daemons and enemy psykers on the field of battle that day."

"Daemons?" Nathans eyes narrow at that word" I should have been there......." "The only good daemon is one that cannot materilise on ths plane..."

Nathan shook his head to clear it "Well what are our plans so far?"

"We were just discussing that; We would appreciate your views. You definately have seniority over the rest of us." Pater smiled for a split second.

"Marvelling at this miracle of technology, this Emperor class battleship. I will say this, if the Men of Iron are up to something sinister they are playing for very high stakes. Only the greatest of rewards would be worth giving us such a ship as a gesture of good faith. Severa is quite giddy. She was in line to command a warship until her refusal to cooperate in . . . .shall we say corrupt activities sidelined her carreer. I can scarcely keep track of her. She has her nose and her auspex's in everything."

Adivan took several steps back as the Blank approached, and he felt bile rising in the back of his throat. It was not so much the temporary loss of his powers that unnerved him - though that was bad enough - but the memories of the last time this had happened to him. He had thought them long buried, but now fragments were rising to the surface...

"hmmm anyone have a nav map of the area? I need to know where the main Warp routes are.."

Nathan looked at them " It could simply be the enemies way of denying Cadia reinforcements...If I`m riht and we do stradle a major Warp route to Cadia...imagine a major chaos rebellion here and now as Abbadon is raising merry hell"

"Sister Lillith" He turns to face her" I have no need for your abilities currently. You may return to the suite and do as you wish,practice,meditate,pray whatever .I will contact you if I need you"

Nathan hands her a small communicator as he turned back to talk to the others.

"No, I don't think it's entirely about that..."
They explained about Torquen.
"I think he was here for the same thing we are; The archeotech."

He blinks, his natural eye widening at the notion of the loss of a critical supply corridor to Cadia. The gateway to the Imperium, denuded of critical reinforcements...

It's too horrific a scenario to imagine.
