If I have a transport craft for landing troops, and I have a carrier that carries some of the transports (they're $1 each) in addition to fighters and bombers, does the carrier have to allocate points for the troops or is it enough to just have points for the transports and fighters?

Points for the troops, as such is generally considered to include troop landers anyway.

For example, I have the 80-point strike cruiser, which breaks down as:
40 points 'conventional warship'
20 points 'carrier'
20 points 'troops'
The 20 points of 'carrier' go to gunships which have effectively zero ground troop capacity*. The 20 points of 'troops' are presumed to include dropships for said troops.
*Effectively zero, since I do have a type of cutter that carries a platoon of Strike heavy infantry. But even stuffed to the gills each cutter can only carry about 0.02 points worth of ground troops. For any reasonable 'carrier space group' you're likely to see on my cutter-tenders, the ground troops are a rounding error as far as point cost goes.

You can still have a JEW BEAR. The Gallian War is a golden opportunity for mercenaries of all kinds; there can be rogue Bragulans working on both sides of the conflict, with the JEW BEAR working for the West.

So, I made an attempt at a somewhat more shroomian post than usual. Hope you all enjoy. I will probably put something else up later today or tomorrow to advance the drones story a bit more.

Hopefully, there will be enough moments of glory to go around.

That was... entertaining. I like the dry-ironic approach. Could maybe use a bit more polish, but there's something good going there.

Good to see that all that nursing school is getting some use, Shroom. Hehehehe.
Chaotic Neutral, until you actually respond in something that's not wanking your own forces in the Wiki, we will make increasingly ridiculous things canon about the MEH. Enema bots and men with penciled eyebrows are only the beginning.

I'll try to get a few of my storylines moving ahead hopefully before the weekend. Sorry for the longish absence, but the holidays have been hectic.

Sorry about my delays, long story short, I've been doing stuff. I hope what I wrote doesn't suck too bad.
What is the average rate of esperism in human populations? And where could I send the ones in the MEH to be educated with using their abilities?

Probably could've posted that a while back, but I guess we thought there might be more later. There will be more later. AT BEEEF! Now hopefully I can get a few quick in-Refuge posts finished so people can see more of the life within. Also chickadees.

Honestly, this is one motherfucking large post that took a month over to review, review, rewrite, recorrelate, recondense, reconnect, whatever, and it finally got posted.
I'm only sorry that it's so bloody fucking long and tedious that there might be infinitely many typos and whatever that I gave up proof reading all the collected writings of 4 nut cases including myself who were simply too bored.
And so thank you, Praise the Emperor, and I will be sleeping on my Golden Throne as a fossilized corpse.

Looks cool, will read it later.
One request, the next time you see this... could you scale down some of those images? They're really wide.

That raises a question I've been meaning to ask... What image width is acceptable to the players of this game? I've pretty much stuck to 640x480 myself, but since I have no idea what resolution y'all are operating on I'm not sure if this fits on everybody's screen.

640x480 is probably a good rule.
1024x768 at largest, perhaps.

Oh, mang, "if we can't have it, no one will" seems to be a well-established rule in the Korpulu Zone.
Have a very nice day.

We
made an offer to you along those lines already.
And I have no idea what the natural rate of Espers in the population would be. Probably somewhere in the "low" range for 'normal' groups.

[Finally gets round to reading the recent Battle of Genoa update]
Good stuff. I like this- the interplay between the forces involved, the contrasts between people nominally on the same side...
