Have the fields burned yet? Brush fires move VERY quickly

Yes, the fields are burning up. Any intellegent attacker will have run by now.

BAsed on the fact that you don't hear "AAAAA! It burns!" you would assume no.

Then I look into the forest for signs of our attackers...

You don't see anything, but the smoke from the field is obscuring your vision.

Then it is obsuring theirs good.

I sit back, and wait for the smoke to clear.

"Ok... this is a siege, we quite literally have to sit with our thumbs up our asses, heads down, and wait for them to attack us."

When the smoke clears, you see no sign of your attackers.

"Fucking Kobald wankers"

Ok then, other then sitting on your thumbs waiting for the kobolds, do you do anything?

"We need to get some rest, post twice the number of guards at the walls to increase the ready defence, other than that all we can do is wait and finish the defences."

"Yeah, they wont attack during the day... They are to easily seen. Post watches, but tell the men not to stand. They make themselves targets that way. It becomes much harder to hit someone who is just a head poking out from behind a wall"

Tsaroth goes into a half lotus, and slips into trance... on the platform, being short enough that hsi head cannot be seen frm outside the wall.

Right, I head to the walls to survey the scene, and see what we/they did during the night. Taking all battle wands with me.

Waking from a comfortable nights sleep on the battlements, Grozny gets up, gathers his weapons, and makes for the nearest inn to get breakfast.

(OOC: Happy New Year to you, anyway Weren't you supposed to be partying instead of having an attack here? )

(Keenan was with the other in the attack, of course.)

After I get up, I go to the scene of the attack.
"Morning," he waves to Robgea. "Do you think they will continue with this hit&run tactics for long? I do prefer real attacks. At least one knows where to shoot at..."

The guards report that the night was uneventfull, except for someing hammering noises coming from the forest.

"Siege tower maybe, do you think we'd get away with it burning the outside of the forrest?"

I put down the wands and start handing them out to guards and charecters as the need sees fit (I.E. Gate guards getrismatic colours,, wall guards get magic missle/flame arrow/acid arrow, charecters get fireball, etc.

"Siege Towers would be bad. But I guess the guard is not up to a sally in this forrest..."

I leave for camping in about an hour. When I leave, Dahak has cntrol over my character... If we are attacked, I lob spells at the enemy. Try not to get him killed.
