no, no one knows when the rogue trader stuff was set anymore....
might as well be another reality, except some of the cool stuff that got nerfed shows up in the books I am told....
erm, the guy holding the confrence knows we can implode the whole room into the warp still..... (checks there still are two Vortex devices on the persons of people in the confrence....)

Necronlord has given me permission to unleash my Chaotic hellspawn upon you, so get your Inquisitorial butts in gear.

Wrong thread, Yosimite. Fikked, BTW.

Remember how nice I was when I guest-GMed, and how well I took care of your characters?
Oh, never mind. I always was a lousy suck-up.
This... is gonna be bloody.

Since Typhonis isn't around, I'll take a guess that his answer to Prius would be affirmative...
And I want a juicy piece of this action...

Yeah, you can have control of my Chaos stormtroopers. Do whatever you want with them. Think Blood Pact, only Tzeench, or however it's spelled. I actually think I'll need your help.

Oh. I wasn't angling for Guest-GMing, I was begging for mercy. But sure, whatever you need.

Remind me... what does a psycannon do again? I'm starting to think I should have brought one along (although I am starting to resemble the main character from a FPS, what with all the weapons I'm lugging about. Thank the Emperor for power armour...).

Well, I guess it's Guest-Guest-GMing. If you don't want 'em I won't force 'em on you.

A psycannon is a bolter that fires shells that contain some of that nasty anti-psyker stuff that goes into Psyk out grenades. Its bad for pskers and even worse for daemons.

Nah, no prob. Always glad to help out, especially when it gives me the opportunity to be a sadistic bastard GM-wannabe without any of the actual responsibilities of a GM.

I know what you mean. I'm feeling a little light headed.

Hrm. The Chaos Guard need a better name. What's a good name for Tzeentchian IG? The Hundred Eyes?
Edit: Also, what's Tzeentchs' holy number?

I'm lousy with names. The Twisted Path?

9 is Tzeentch's number. Serpent, ring, eye, bird, and fire motifs are common.

The Twisted Path it is. All squads are comprised of 9 members (8 regular troops and a sergent).
Also, the assassain's real name is the Blademaster. Think Prince of Persia crossed with Kroenen from Hellboy.

Ok, so how many squads around the landing zone?
EDIT: Or, rather, how many squads were around the landing zone?

2 Squads, one eliminated by you at the start, Petro counterattacking with another. The Blademaster moving towards your position.

Blah, the Christmas season is not good for gaming. I'll try to catch up as much as possible.

Twisted Path info:
Fairly standard as far as weapons loadout goes. Feel free to include more chaotic weapons if you think of them.
Twisted Path members wear chitinous-looking armour that varies from light green to dark purple depending on the light source. They also have capes that seem to vary colour to match their surroundings; No doubt Chaotic Sorcery at work. They have numerous, individualised Chaotic and Tzeenchian etchings on their armour that carry on to ritual scars on the unarmoured parts of their bodies. They all wear red gloves to symbolise a recent victory against Eldar forces and have a lightning bolt-shaped etching on the right-hand side of their chest armour for reasons unknown.
Edit: They, unsurprisingly, have a large number of Sanctioned Psychers.

So what does 'standard' mean? I assumed, since they were originally introduced as Chaos Stormtroopers, that they would be using hellguns and the like; am I correct, or would they be using something else?

I don't think Tzeentchian Sorcery counts as "sanctioned".

pcm: What exactly is this 'Blademaster' thing? A demon? A rogue Assassin? What?
Posted: 2004-12-08 11:08pm
by Pcm979
Well, this is based on the Imperial Guard rules. They're not all Stormtroopers; Think a Daemonhunters army. Except Chaotic.
Incase 2+2 hasn't equalled 4 yet, it's the private army of Torquen, the guy from the Memorium.
Edit: The Blademaster is an assasain. He has a power sword and a dagger and can leap around like a Jack-In-The-Box.

Capital-A assassin (i.e. like Chapel)?
