He meant Sparata, and it was rather sad, if that was the only code actually being used.
You know, I added in that code bit for a bit of realism. If i have it in that code, I mean for it to be heavily encoded. But that wasnt the only code being used.

All a player needs to do to make a message unbreakable is add the tag at the top: Military Encryption. (or something of that nature.)

oh. Well, I decided to try this for once. I will do that from now on.

Well, it's not unbreakable, but it's pretty damned close. A nation like NOFR could easily slice it, and the QE powers have excellent SIGINT facilities, but it would take considerable work for everyone else.

Certainly, if you want to transfer messages safely, it can be done.

Well, I have every message encrypted by default. Comes as a natural security and survival instinct to my people :D

Ironically enough, that actually degrades the quality of your encryption by giving your enemies a wider base of samples. :)

It might, if you would be able to tap into it.
Being point-to-point quantum communication (~ansible), it gets a bit difficult.
And then my nation certainly has a lot more expertise in the field of computer technology than yours :D
For you, computers are tools. For them, it is the world they live in. So they tend to have tad bit better protection :)

Say, is there an STGOD FAQ floating around somewhere? Would make things much easier on me with all the new players in my FSTGOD over on my board.

I think as far as encryption goes, if you don't want others reading your message, than it others can't read your messages. We could call in Hotfoot to start arguing about how spiffy encryption is and how there isn't enough time in the universe, whatever. But I think it's safe to assume if you are sending a message to someone, and you don't want anyone else to read it, there are steps that you can take to do so.

Ace, I'm going to have to hurt you now. Between work and helping my roomie move in, I've had just about NO time to screw with STGOD postage. I'll SEE about tonight, but he's moving his computer in, and that means I get to do network wiring. I'll see.

Sorry, but I had no idea.

Ironic, as I'm making my post about the Gorns internal situation we see other nations jumping on the Gorn bandwagon. I wonder what the reaction to the latest news out of the Gorn Federation will be?

I have little doubt that he sudden influx of foreign capital and weaponry will ensure one side or the otherr the victory....

what will be interesting thirdfain? the battle that ace pace is talking about or the ensuing tide of posts about the gorm conquest of the Klingon Empire?

and I have a question, what is the Sixth Cruiser Squadron? Is it a power or just a roaming fleet? I didnt see an OOB but I will look again.

oh and do we get a new group of ships per month? or was I reading that wrong?

Second-to-last OOB on the first page, Cab. And assuming that I'm not stuck running network cable all night, I should have the time to dust the bejesus out of the Evil.

The Gorm conquest of the Klingon Empire? You have NO IDEA what's going on in the core, man.
and I have a question, what is the Sixth Cruiser Squadron? Is it a power or just a roaming fleet? I didnt see an OOB but I will look again.
It's a power, with territory. It has an OOB, and is situated on the Eastern Rim.
oh and do we get a new group of ships per month? or was I reading that wrong?
You were reading it wrong.

Yes, we can say that.

We can also say 500% markup and ruinous interest rates.

God, I love my work.
