Actually, we could "recycle" lands where the leaders have left. They'll revert to a peaceful existence in compliance with the OP and do nothing of any consequence unless another person of equal status jumps into the game, at which point they can just pick up with a ready-per-OP landmass. Only if they specifically wanted to design their own custom landmass would this not work.

Yeah. Well Syndromia is reserved because it's King still resides in the Red Techocracy in exile/asylum. So it's off hands.

Zablania's leader is however dead, killed himself - the only way to True Death (TM). So Zablania is pretty much a ravaged wasteland which can be used as a nuclear dump.

Could we spread this out a little, as in world wise? It's a little hard for some of us small countries to join in the fun especially when our military is relatively small.

it's not hard for you, it's hard for everyone because Libertia is conveniently behind Saddamistan who vowed to shoot down anyone and anything violating his airspace and singlehandedly stopped Zoria's space program.

as for "spreading out", that's impossible because the map format constrains us ;)

but it's not like there's not enough capabilities for warmaking. OMSK nations can base their planes in any other OMSK nation, so you can technically attack Libeira from UKB.

Also, war in not necessarily the answer. This is as much diplomacy, economics, brinksmanship, spies... even tiny nations can have impacts disproprotionate to their size. Thus is the challenge! :D

Besides, it's part of the fun of playing a small nation. Principalities have pitiful militaries even when compared to Kingdoms, so they have to be smart about what they do, seek alliances and carefully use their limited resources.

So far, I'm loving it.
Also, war in not necessarily the answer. This is as much diplomacy, economics, brinksmanship, spies... even tiny nations can have impacts disproprotionate to their size. Thus is the challenge! Very Happy
Yeah, look at what the Fungal Axis has managed to accomplish. A collection of tiny countries can have plenty of influence on world affairs.

If he just wants to use the An-22P in Libertia, that's one thing.

A gunship-type low-flying, turboprop plane is only useful for attacking savages without serious SAM complexes. I.e. use it in Libertia all you like they lack stuff to seriously harm you.

If you want to really go to a "true" war with someone strong, you better have good reasons for it ;) and good weaponry to wipe him off the New Earth, because if the victory is not utter enough destruction of his army, I presume the poster will cling to all he can to avoid being removed by an in-universe incident like a war.

Diplomacy also exists, and you can do lots of stuff. :)

Well, in fact now we are the biggest "kid on the block" as an alliance (hehe, it seems power is attracting newcomers!), but there's still a problem.

Like the US was forced to curtain the use of AC-130 in Vietnam after they shot up several of them up with SAMs, we'd have to curtail the use of such ships when fighting against a serious enemy (say, Saddamistan).

It's still hard to sail down a force from the northern to southern hemisphere though, not least, our sole miserable CVBG is the only thing standing in the way of any invasion by sea. :?

Heheh. If we shot our reserve of hypersonic drones over Saddam, that might just trigger a huge war with him.

Though now we're pretty ready to wipe the floor with him if he stirs trouble by now :) and will be even more empowered to do it in the future.

Dude, did you read the OMSK rules? :?

If anyone attacks you, boom, he's cinders. Well, maybe not instantly, if it's someone big like Saddam or, god save, the MESS. But ultimately, through ravage and war until the end, OMSK will prevail.

You have a 3-trillion GDP, around 10 GVBGs alliance (yes, less than the MESS which has 12,5 carriers, but still quite enough) fitted with orbital weapons ready to destroy the first nation which fires a bullet against Byzantium ;)

No; but we can wipe out our enemy. We could not sustain something like Iraq I guess.

EDIT: so what if Lord Ramsley attacks Baerne's outpost? He's a major warlord in a 50 million nation; Baerne is a Duchy with little ability to support overseas operations. Uh-oh!

Jesus, not another attempt at a naked land-grab.

Baerne, we need your shipyards to produce FCS orders. They won't do us any good if you ruin your economy walking into a useless quagmire.

Libertopia doesn't have any infrastructure, industry or even an educated workforce ; Unless you're prepared to sink hundreds of billions over decades developing it, establishin firebases is a good way to getting your people killed.

haha. But there's a King, so he can want to make land aquisitions

It would be fun if FUNGAL gets into it, though - the first attempt to see what a bunch of Mininations (we all have small GDP, really guys, even the mega nations barely make up to real world nations like France or Spain) could do on a large scale

On a side note, I did look at the map and thought that

1) monsoons
2) tropical climate
3) virus strains and bacteria

are pretty bad problems too, which so far had been let on the loose more or less ;)

Mangka are making biotech and vaccines, so I proposed to work with Yenchin (who is the PM Ma).

And if someone's nation gets a pandemia rising, we will have to quarantine it. That is the OMSK policy guideline I guess, at least I thik so. Others can agree to this rule, or face the unhappy plot twist by someone, called "there's a growing epidemia in my nation and now it's a pandeima since we all have air and naval exchange of people"

EDIT: as for Baerne, he's too small to warant a threat to OMSK, and Liberia is lawless and anarchic, so we can't say he "attacked a state" really. So we just ... let you salvage his adventurist debacle!

Is OMSK allowed to intervene in Zablania's problems, or stay away?

Also, who else is working on related Nuclear Fission projects? I don't mind sharing data from our experimental FBR which should be completed mid next year.

Zablania was quarantined as a nuclear waste dump after it was razed, and all sane survivors there resqued. You can dump nuclear waste there and do what you must to protect the security of your nuclear dumps.

Zablorg is dead; 99,9% of Zablania's population too; robots are 100% dead (all self-destructed after we massively kicked their ass).
Also, who else is working on related Nuclear Fission projects?
I'd do it, but my budget is kinda strained and it would cost really lots of cash and many many years to make for a single nation.

Team up with Crossroads, pool resoruces and you can have TOKAMAKs or something soon, with ITER-like stuff later. It took years to make with resources at hand, probably still years to mke here - higher tech base, but also smaller economies.

P.S. I GO TO REST! Which means to SLEEP
