Efficient in terms of aircraft-available (four flights of 4 means you can have three flights available and one down, a 25% maintenance downtime), but difficult in terms of maintenance (more planes = more man-hours) and procurement expenses.

It will be a very gradual transition. Not all units will be upped in numbers.

I'm in violation all right, but I have been since I green-lighted the CATO naval base in Fallston, Coilerburg. Make of that what you wish. I'm not officially pulling out.
Ryan Thunder wrote:Well, you can return all those FTO destroyers and FASTA technology, then, Seige.
I'm
building quite a number of those destroyers and submarines. If I recall correctly the
Standard-class is produced by me and Baerne, likewise with the
Barracuda-class and
Vigilant-class (whose reactor design is Shroomanian no less), and the
Swarm-class is built solely in Coilerburg. Now
we are perfectly willing to settle this amicably and continue working with you guys on these ships and subs. Do you really want to greatly handicap your fleet-in-being over this affair?
There of course can be no 'returning'. I bought those destroyers. I helped design and build them. They are mine and will remain such. As for FASTA technology, I don't see what that has to do with the FTO. You have no say over our involvement in FASTA. And besides, they make use of our tech just about as much as we use theirs.
I'll also be repossessing that Spectre factory...
Oh, that would be quite unwise. I really would have to protest such a course of action, let's say by blockading the Orizaco Bay, and that would mean your new wilderness port becomes utterly useless. So, let's not do anything rash and settle this amicably instead, okay?

I really think other FASTA members may have something to say about "handing back the technology" by Siege
FASTA agreements are not tied in any way to alliance memberships, anyway.

Ryan, don't be an ass. We aren't going to bombard you with nukes unless you want to be funny about things, and neither are we going to block Siege from working with you. All this "Commie this Commie that" really is egging me on because the UCSR just elected its own damn President.

Godless Communists?! Fuck, I thought it was funny at first, but now it's just annoying. The only communist country on the fucking planet is the UCSR.
And Ryan, I suggest you relax and take it back a notch. You wouldn't want to piss off one of these OC 'tards, right?

It's hilarious. What, the Patriarch of Stasograd is now persecuted and locked up in a dungeon?

Apparently some people think so.
Also: Where is Langley? We need to wrap things up.

Come on dudes. The FTO is just
bitter. Why shouldn't they be? Ryan's apparently selling himself and his nation out to Huang Di (discussing "internal politics" with an emperor of another nation, huh) and counting on the latter's rabid anticommunism (probably from my little war with Czech), so he should be upping the rethoric. In Russia, we have the saying "The dog barks while the caravan moves on".
Oh, and I certainly agree with Shroom in that we need more awesome.

Ryan, cool down. There's no way you can win the fight you're about to provoke, and there's no real reason to do so in the first place.

I'm not selling out anything. I'm simply attending a meeting. Meeting with the Supreme Leader isn't quite the same as meeting with, say, the President of the United States.
But yes, "bitter" would be an accurate description...
Oh, and Siege, if Sydney finds
that sort of language offensive, he should go listen to a session of the Assembly. There's no expectation of politeness there, only accuracy. It often sounds like an SDN flamewar read aloud.
In any event, your objections are partly why this move has bothered Miratia so much. For one thing, yeah, you can choose to blockade the bay and make my wilderness asset useless. For another, I see nothing in particular stopping you from doing so (or something else) at a whim now that you're aligned with organizations on the other end of the world.

If anything, that should temper his doing anything rash, his allies are on the other side of the planet, as opposed to right next door to nuke the stupid away.

Blockading the NFT in a fit of pique? The NFT, which, through legacy of San Dorado, has substantial business partnerships with Canissia?
I think I'll spool up the rest of my Seawolf SSNs...

I believe the NFT would be blockading the Miratian Wilderness port if they repossessed the NFT Spectre factory.

PeZook, vote required on an issue. Please go check.
And Ryan, I seriously seriously doubt Siege would go dick with you, but only if you fired the first shot. We of CATO are more than happy to cooperate in some fashion with you. Just don't sour the patch with ill-will.

Look, I said this only like three times yet so perhaps people missed it... But just because I seceded from the FTO doesn't mean I plan on screwing my close-by trading partners. When have I ever been anything but a good neighbor? The NFT doesn't interfere in the business of those who don't interfere in its business. It's that easy.

I know, I really don't get the backlash from the 'FTO.' If anything you have basically made the continent seem like less of a shithole, as the continent has a natural member of a major power, meaning that the continent has potential to grow and become great, and that the FTO was successful in pulling at least some of the continent out of the trash heap.

For the record, I'm allied with Stas because for a commie, he's got an awesome sense of humor and is
not an anti-Shroomite (I think he leiks my mad exploits). And damn if he didn't save Shroomania's ass when Shep tried to kill us out of spite!
Ryan wrote:all the Frequesuan technology you're essentially handing over to those 'tards on the other end of the world
What Frequesean technology? For all your successes, Siege's technocracy was the one pulling the rest of your coup-ridden colonial fringe world yokels up to first-world standard.
And Shroomania's been a silent partner of San Dorado's
Silver space projects even before day one - back when Sidney Hank and Shroom the 777th ate Big Kahuna hamburgers together and Hank showed Shroom the Silver Streak mock-up in an underground laboratory in San Dorado. Dude, I
invented the thing's name. Why do you think it's a goddamn alliteration? I
always try to make things alliterated!
HAH!
Shroomania also worked with San Dorado and the Vineyards, back when King Brandon was honcho, to give you Frequesean fringe world yokels (who don't know where your loyalties lie) your goddamn FreeCom global telecommunications network so you can broadcast your goddamn provincial programs and badly-dubbed Frequesean latino-style teledramas to lonely housewives world-over.
HAH! HAH!
AND those submarines of yours have nuclear engines from San Dorado, which they bought from Shroomania!
(Fingolfin told me not to sell them, but I did anyway. Looking back at it, I shouldn't have so you guys would have to use sails and oars and paddles to propel your Unterboots!)
HAH! HAH! HAAAAAAAH!
CATO guys, please allow me to give some things stupid names to annoy these totally uncool people!

Also, aren't all three of the carrier's owned by countries in Frequesue purchased from CATO countries (Shroomania and Byzantine)?

Look Ryan, I'm open to a two-way street, so long as you guarantee you don't go dick around with stuff.
And yes, all the carriers sold to Frequesue were purchased from CATO countries, who have been making efforts over the last few years to at least enhance relations.

HAH-HAAH-HAAAAH-
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Miratia can get a carrier from Shroomania if it wants. We're willing to sell you the same design we sold to the Vinish.
Look, CATO countries - Shroomania especially, but also Byzantium - have been throughout the game very willing to play with Frequesue in trade and civilian dealings and doings and in selling and buying stuff. I'm superbestfriends with Siege. I've sold carriers to the Vineyards and helped Frequesue build FreeCom by selling stratellites. FASTA has worked with San Dorado and the FTO and together we've built awesome space telecommunications assets.
Unlike some other players, CATO players (well, Siege, PeZook and I at least) post things
other than
boring stuff like the next year's military procurements or something something.
Come on, we've got stuff like intense and suspenseful crime thrillers, and AWESOME space adventures! And the neurotic journeys of Prime Minister Shroom! OF WHICH THERE WILL BE SO MUCH MORE!
