Who are you talking about.

As for myself, I have a case of writers block and a swollen wrist at the same time. I am going to try to have some more Power Rangers tomorrow, and hopefully a slice of life piece for the EUC done soon.

I'm talking about the players who've never posted anything at all. There are lots of nations in the map that I know nothing about, nations that I haven't seen done anything IC yet. Either I'm inattentive, or there are a lot of players who aren't... playing?

You have posted, so you're okay.

I'm going to try and reach out to other players, try to increase participations.

Steve this should be the cover of your stories:

The Prime Minister!

Shroom, the joke reached it's conclusion with the last cover you posted. You're officially running it into "lame joke" territory.

I'm sorry man. I'm terrible.

Though can't the PM just get Gabriela an ESP-tutor?

Also, hey. Does this mean there's no advanced method of detecting esper potential in people before it manifests? Or did they just not expect it and thus not get their kids tested (because no one in the family is an esper, etc.)?

Maybe there are tests but they're unreliable? One thing it suggests is that there is no single specific gene for psychic powers, though; that would be easy to test for.

But if it's a complex of genes that have to interact, or if there are other more mysterious factors... well you never know.

The Shroomy's Guide to the Galaxy's Various Astrocartographic Zones

Image

The Bragulans use this. :)

It's not a perfect guide though. Lots of places, like Anglia, Space France and Space Prussia share more commonalities than their other neighbors (by being retro old Europe powers IN SPAAACE), but these zones also like factor in regional sensibilities and interstellar neighborhoods and space communities and shared histories and whatever. Also, of course, distance.

EDIT:

Man, I can't decide on which zone has the best name. I love them all!

The Koprulu Zones rules, of course. It has the best mangs around!

And it reminds me of the Polish word for "dill weed", which gives it bonus points :P

My original name for the PUSSYCAT STARS would've been THE LITTER BOX. But Simon Jester talked some sense into me. :)

Why would Bragulans call it "Loinstar Space"?

Because a Bragulan space-hiker hiked to the Grand Dominion/Shepistan area and asked someone where he was, and that someone happened to be a Shroomanian and he said that they were at the Loin Stars. Then the Bragulan thought about pork loins and went "mmmm". :)

Maybe that area of space has the best FREEDOM BEEF tenderloins and sirloins! Yes! So much so that the Bragulans have named that entire zone of space after the succulent meats! Yes!

In some of the pre-game fluff I mentioned that genetics alone don't determine actual ESPer capability, only likelihood to become one.

And getting her a tutor is one way to handle things. There are also dedicated schools for developing such talent. Keep in mind, however, that this goes into the issues in the Penton family, and the fact that Gabriela is the one most starved for attention. She's in the dreaded "middle child" position - her little brother Adrian demands the most attention on account of being a toddler and her older siblings have more privileges and, in the case of her older sister, more attention on account of being the family prodigy. As a result she's rather afraid that if her parents find out she'll be shipped off to one of the schools.

Hey Shroom why doesn't the area of space with Hiigara/New Anglia have a Bragulanized name?

Because I was going to call it the LESBO ZONE but I didn't want to push my luck with Steve, having ticked him off previously by insinuating that his Prime Minister was Hugh Grant from Love Actually.

But what the heck.

Here we go:

I've included you guys in the Spin Zone, since character-wise your nations are pretty well-matched with the other Spin Zone guys (especially with Anglia/Space Brits, the Space French and Space Prussies). I still placed Anglia in a super-special sub-sector though. :D

Another brief segment in the ongoing story of Spozavik's outreach mission to Umeria. And yes, the Chrome Golden Age of Umerian civilization is canon. I think it may actually have been my idea instead of Shroom's, but I can't remember.

I think it was all your idea, when we were talking about bullshit paleohistory with conquistadores and how you mentioned the Umerian version was all shiny with rayguns and stuff. :D

PeZook, that is creepy man. That is fucking weird. Scary.

Man, I already have two storylines hanging in limbo, and I'm now adding a third one, which can be described simply as "Sora no Woto and Modern Warfare 2 meet Halo, Half-Life, and Resistance." At least I can wrap this one up relatively quickly.

Man, you should have ridiculous animu adventures! With lots of =^_________________^=

And, like, Chamarran catgirls! Because Darkevilme told me that they really ARE animu-catgirls with just cat ears sticking out of their heads! And tails! :D

Finally got the time to write a little bit up. I think I can find a regular time to read updates and write, so I'll try not to fall off the face of the earth due to university.
