Yeah, Lucas is just pissing all over Star Wars with these prequels.....
But that's not appealing to the fan's self-hyped expectations; everything should be prissy and dead-serrious, the plot should be nothing but aciton sans transitions & story flow, the only characters are Anakin, Obi-Wan, Palpatine, Tarkin, Sate Pestage, and Thrawn, the character-development absent (fans already know who everybody is), and everybody is paper-supermen with newscaster soundbyte dialogue and big sticks up their asses so their heads stand striaght up into the clouds. Um, as in they're detached from the film events.

My prequel-trilogy script outline pwns George's. I am *so* more a fan than everybody else.

I heard this too, in the form of a spoiler description on MF.com where Yoda has a conversation with him.

Yeah, me too in the comingsoon.net Star Wars roundup.

I remember from one of the webdocs, a scene where Obi-Wan approaches a stuntman dressed in green (who has his fists planted firmly on his sides) looking to start some trouble. I´m guessing this was the stand-in for Grievous. Even said there´s gonna be a bare-knuckles fight between the two, so here hoping it´s good! 8)

I just realised that it'd be pretty neat if at least one time Grievous called Obi-wan either a witch or a Jedi-witch... :)

God, I hope they go with John Di Maggio for Grievous. He did such a good job in CW ch. 20, it would be a nice gesture to have him voice him i nthe film as well. 8)

I thought they've gone with John Rhys-Davies, or was that just a rumour?

Personally, I'd want Frank Welker. :) Ooh! Or leonard Nemoy!!

So do I.

As Billy West's wife once said (Comic Book: The Movie), the actors working in the voice-over industry are the most untapped source of talent in Hollywood. It's a shame that people like Frank Welker who have contributed so much to the industry are barely recognized outside of it. That's why it would be great for the average movie-goer to hear the voice of Megatron in the final SW film... 8)

Well, that's what makes you a dork. I didn't specify Megatron, just Frank Welker. :P

The man's done more than one character, after all.

I know. I can just imagine Grevious saying to Obi-Wan, "One shall stand and one shall fall, eh?"..

I'd prefer to hear him say something like "I will not fall down before you, Jedi witch..." :P

High-res version of that cool space battle pic.

What annoys me is that the Separatists seem to have four kinds of vessels present:

- General Grievous' unique ship, the Invisible Hand- visible behind the TF battleship in the middle
- Trade Federation Battleships
- Seperatist Cruisers (there are at least four of them in that pic)
- Unidentified ship, which may be the same ship as seen clearly in this picture:

Yet in all the space battle pics, all we can make out on the Republic side is Venators. It's annoying.

Pablo said there would be several ships on the Republic side, I guess this is another fuck-up of his. ;)

Better pray for Darth Vader and the gang on a Victory at the end. =\

Bah, there will be no Victory. I was never keen on seeing EU ships play a prominent role, since we've seen them before and it's a waste of a perfectly good art/design department, but I want multiple ships. For all we know, Pablo may indeed be right and it's just the few pictures (four, so far) that have come out- but it's discouraging so far.

Oh, well. They´ll probably end with an Imperial-class at the end anyway because ´s what people associate with the Empire and shit.

Hope the upcoming series(es) got lotsa capital ships and cameos and stuff.

I hope not, I hope they sneak a Victory class in there as a surprise (along with Z-95s :P) since Victories were something from that time period. Plus, I really like the look of the Victory for some reason.

It does look cool and I do hope we see it (it would be a nice reference to the old, discarded concept art that was recycled in the EU, along with the Z-95s and already confirmed Juggernauts). Next best hope after that is the TV series or the last five episodes of SW:CW.
