You'd be better off just forging one to the SKS, they are far closer.

I don't know the history of that part of the galaxy? What are the chances one of those Boyd Deathstar ships might come tumblin' through? hehe

Highyl unlikely, that close to the SKS.

Both ways, it'll take a fair measure of time and resources. Would one say pirate attacks are more likely to be see deep in the waste, rather than in clear space?

Uh, there was one Boydsphere, and it retreated with the Lost.

You'd also have twice as long a route to forge....

Both options aren't that great, honestly. Guess you'll just have to pick a "side" and tunnel to them

Yes, we're very evil capitalists at times. The Ferengi of ST can't hold a candle to us... of course, Ferenginar is owned by Ferengi Enterprises LTD, one of the Corporate Sector member companies.

Well, now that Nitram is upon me, I think my time here is ended.
I don't have that much time left for this right now with my upcoming diploma thesis (and time shift and stuff), to really be effective, especially should it come to a full drawn-out "war", mostly because I'm just so out of the time loop with my location.
Of course, I will try my best, but in the end I'm sure what will be the outcome. So who knows? The nation might even survive

I don't want to go out like a bickering fool, so I'll leave the outcome to the mod's decision.

In ten million years, who can say? Stuartian ideals and Corsair Psionics could make a utopia or a living Hell.
But for now, it will be another way.

No, though thats not to say that the broadcast by Fresstan was perfectly truthful or complete. Here's what I see as really happening.
The marines, strike the Government building. Capture the Speaker and most of High Council. Navy and Army units strike at the various planetary councils. Capturing most of the planetary council members as well, but once again not all of them.
General Issthan launches a counter attack in the capital with the troops under his command. Seizes theater defenses and several strong points. Rallies remaining council members to his side. They issue the proclamation to the New Years Resolution powers. The PLC counters with its recent statement.
This was a well planned coup by the two most senior members of the Gorn armed forces. The PLC has all of the military advantages. I'm assuming Issthan must have been a high ranked officer with connections to the council, which would explain why Dexxtrus couldn't get him relieved before the coup, and why he is supporting the council.

I slept over it, and Marcao talked extensively with me

I might try and stay, but still my time might be limited to a degree.
And I'm wary (knowing me) that if I started to "fight" Nitram this will turn into a possible laz-level of discussing, and I don't like doing just that. It wouldn't become this fantastic game, and so if all else fails peaceful retreat is the best option for the game.
So I just give it a try, for the time being.

And I would have gotten away for it, if not for those meddling Ententers!

Pablo, I've been stopped from posting the Fenari movements, because I've spent all day writing up the Fenris Agreement OOB. I was talking to Marcao, my intention was to have their forces launch in support of the Gorn Federation soon after their decleration of support.
Additionally, mod agreement puts the Fenari fleet at a full Minor power's contingent, and their centrally located status and possession of a strategic node means they'll field both significant fixed defenses and a modern wall of battle.
