Oh Christ Shroom, you had to bring "jihadists" into it, didn't you?

*sigh* Now he's really going to start slaughtering.

Let me guess. You went "Ooohh NINJAs!" without quite thinking it through, didn't you?

From now on, you should just go and clear everything you do with PeZook first. :P

Oh well, too late now. Although if he wasn't ethnic-cleansing before, he probably will now.

Yes. I should.

This probably means I shouldn't RP Ramsley too.

Well, given that Ramsley pretty much repented before the UOC, I don't think it's a conflict of interest for Fingolfin_Noldor to RP him at this point.

They're pretty much ready now. Shall we assemble the massive 107 ship convoy? :)

EDIT: Oh, and can anybody explain how did PeZookia become an influential player in world affairs? Because I'm dumbfounded :P

EDIT2: The sale of the Loara licenses is done! This brings me to only 300 million deficit spending this year

EDIT3: So...Stas...how about that monetary aid we talked about? Eh? Eh? :)

Tian Xia is interested in buying a Tico from the UKB.

BTW, Tian Xia led by Huang Di Beowulf. Huang Di is a title, which roughly translates as Emperor. As such, you'll find reference to Imperial this or that, such as the Imperial Palace complex. There is no family name yet known to the denizens.

Deuce is right ; I can't believe I didn't think of that earlier.

For 4.5 billion we can get...260 Mig-29s, and base them all around the Central Sea within easy reach of anybody. Coupled with all the ASMs deployed there, this will make any carrier ventures into the place a total suicide, and give us strong fighter coverage against strategic bombers.

For everyone buying a bunch of military kit, please remember that there's still maintenance costs and contracts and other ancillary costs. Also, for hitting fast strategic bombers (i.e. Tu-160, B-1, etc) you'll more likely need heavy fighter with lots of power, endurance and radar for anything but point defense.

Speaking of which I noticed a couple pages back people are selling fighter planes for unrealistically low prices; a new F/A-18E is a 55 million dollar aircraft with mass production (the first ones in real life cost over 70 million), not counting weapons, spares or ground equipment. Even a budget model MiG-29 with only a moderately decent setup of avionics is a 30 million dollar aircraft, once more without all the stuff you need to actually make it fly and fight.

But hey if want a policy of lowballing weapons costs that’s fine by me, it means instead of buying able to buy forty subsonic strategic cruise missiles for the price of a single mid grade fighter (not counting nuclear warhead costs, but then many of the missiles are decoys anyway) I’ll be able to buy forty supersonic strategic cruise missiles.

Like PeZook, I'm doing my 2011 budget math right now, and I could donate $40 mil to the FUN collective budget without too much trouble, although that would mean almost 'no military purchases that year. I could crank things down tighter and pull $60-70 mil out, by redirecting some stuff. Finally, I could push 90 mil by pulling all the stops out of my budget, screwing over my economy for the next decade and getting a civil war on my hands.

It's not like it matters that much, it's less than $0.1 bill, but it signifies the Republic of N'ton's commitment to the FUN!

Also, I think buying a carrier is a good idea, but remember that it takes an battle group to go with it for support and protection. I'm not saying we have to purchase the battle group at the same time (we can redirect ships to make one) but remember it isn't just the cost of the carrier.

So, the HAL Tejas as built by New Patria is now available for purchase. How much per airframe?
