The arcane empires obession with protecting their documents has allready started a war. The reason they attacked us was because our spies were getting too close to finding out how their magic worked........for what it's worth, we back the floaters actions completly.
Astinius Materialized on the diplomatic station as usual, fully aware of the current line of conversation.
Perhaps you should stop your lies ambassador, the powers here have seen the evidence agaisnt you. Your operatives were attacking our hospitals and
infecting our people against their will with so-called symbiotes.
"They had nothing to do with the resistance, and our offer to recall our ENTIRE spynetwork in ex-covenaant territory was met with a attempted genocide!"
To be frank Ambassador, spies do not generally commit overt acts of terror and agression agaisnt other nations, or send a fleet of eight battlecruisers to attack merchant vessels, steal p[roperty, and subsequently kidnap and
infect the crew.
As to the accusations of genocide... We ahve not wiped out your race yet, we will see what can be done about that at a later date however. We have no problem with the people who are.. implanted, we view them as victims. It is the mind parasites that we have issues with.

Godunov remained utterly calm, though he raised an eyebrow at that. "Genocide? We were unaware of any such actions taken, and certainly took no part in any attempt at genocide."

"There are no pressing concerns at the moment, I believe for the time being we will get settled into whaterver accomodations you can provide for us."
"Of course, Ambassador. Follow us, we'll take you to your trasportation and from there to one of the embassies. If you like it as is you may move in permanently; if you'd rather have one constructed to your specifications that can be arranged as well."
"Thank you kindly," he replied, "Whether we would want to construct our own embassy would be determined by the amount of available land, but at least for the time being, that is unnecessary."
"Very well." A large and luxuriously appointed ground transport pulled up. "This vehicle will take us to your embassy." Two of the Marines opened the vehicle doors and stood at attention waiting for the delegation to enter.

The
Patrician engaged its drive and approached the station, releasing the a small shuttle carrying the Baeloaren delegate to the station.
Onboard the Station
The short Baeloaren delegate walked quickly into the main conference room, behind him were two Order Police Officers in their usual grey light combat suits. Compared to everyone else in the room the Baeloaren was a dwarf. Despite his size he approached the table smiling and took his seat.
Godunov turned from the Gou'ald representative and towards the newcomer. "Welcome, Ambassador! I am Minister Godunov of the Nashtar Republic."

The wreckages of two of those vessels, and the eyewitness acount of escaped officers from the ships your people attacked, as well as the data we recovered from your ambassy, speak for themselves. And again if I may be frank, if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and swims like a duck, we may just have to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

"Allow me, bondmen, to suggest a solution. Clearly, the Krynor Empire has commited greivous crimes against your nation, Lord Astinious. On the other hand, we have heard some most.... disturbing news about your interest in the complete destruction of this species." She approached the Krynor ambassador. "Bondwoman, your nation must pay for their crimes. Allow me to suggest this- you pay one million credits for every man or woman killed by your assassins and privateers, fully reimburse them for the vessels they lost- reparations which would, I am afraid, be very painful to your economy. Then, you would sign a treaty giving up, say, one third of your fleet- a third party will oversee the scuttling of thoose assets. Painful, certainly, and rightfully embarasing- bu your actions demand nothing less, and it is better than havving your people hounded down and killed."

The Embassy data? The embassy didn't keep any sensitive informaion in their computer or on paper. The only way you could have gotten anything from there would have been to interrogate the ambasidor!"

On the contrary, the data in the computers was quite damning, seems as he was fully aware of what was going on, and had a computerized journal... We didnt interrogate him though... removed from his host body he was rather vulnerable to telepathic scan.
Thank you for finally addmitting your actiosn though.

Your suggestion is acceptable. If it is met we would not commit genocide against them.
We are not evil people, we treat people with the same respect with which they treat us. When that respect is slighted however, and our people harmed... It is the duty of our government to protect the life liberty and property of our people. And the Goa'Uld have harmed all of those on multiple occasions.

Well every nation here has the documents. We have made sure of that. A genetic memory, that merely passes on the memory of past generations. Not existing individuals. You still neeed to store documents, or else why would you have computers at all?
